Evening, John.

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away, for his name is Obama."

Look, we have stated repeatedly that we are willing to scale back spending increases by 50%--to meet our opponents halfway, so to speak, but we cant get any agreement, Pelosi complained. Anyone else get that - scale back the increases by 50%. In other words, she still wants increased federal spending. Earth to Nancy, Earth to Nancy - you don't get it, you don't get any increases, we are going to cut your spending. A lot. We are going to reduce the size/scope of the federal government significantly. The feds will live within their means, and those means will be much much smaller.

As I read it (emphasis my thoughts on what she really meant).
Look, we have stated repeatedly that we are willing to scale back outrageous over spending increases by 50%--to meet our opponents at the halfway point of our goal which we can always get to next year if they don't actually cut the budget, so to speak, but we cant get any agreement because they are demanding real budget cuts not just a cut in the rate of increase of our deficit budget, Pelosi complained.
And this one just stands on it's own (emphasis again mine, but his words apparently).
Reid mocked House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) for letting himself be bossed around by a caucus dominated by freshman representatives. Boehners been around long enough to know the score. Theres no realistic way we can actually reduce spending.
Actually there are ways to reduce spending...

Just more name-calling from the evil progressives.
Hold the line. The American people want the cost of government brought under enough control that it stops running our lives and making decisions we can/should make for ourselves as free people in a Free Republic.

so they want GOP to agree to increase spending, but only 50% of what the democraps WANTED to increase it
Shove it Nazi Pelosi, If you call that a compromise.
A compromise would be actually decreasing spending, only maybe not as much as we would like (since WE ARE IN CHARGE NOW)
A compromise is NOT giving your enemy half of what they want, when you are in charge.

Ahhh, why did you have that spending to begin with.
If the GOP wasn’t there, do you mean you would have cut 50% or NONE at all and still go on your spending spree?
I think the latter.
It would be the latter while you tell the GOP to set in the back of the bus.
Pizz on you Pelousie. We won this time!
