This has been shown to occur on one and only one "Certification of Birth" that you believe is from the State of Hawaii. How is that a common occurrence?

What does date filed and date accepted mean?

I'm always grateful to see people taking steps to try to get more attention paid to the eligibility and birth certificate issues.

Please consider indulging me a word of caution on pointing others to the content of this particular video. In my opinion, Polland's (Polarik's) arguments tend to be based on some of the murkiest and least compelling points of "evidence." I don't mean to dismiss his work. I don't even consider my self as having patiently waded through all the tedious fine details that Polarik draws upon in sufficient fashion to render a final conclusion.

Still, this particular video leaves questions in my mind about things like whether the incriminating shadows may be emphasized as a result of some image filter applied or, as other have said, compression artifacts that arise in some image formats or any of other unknown combinations of intervening peculiarities that could have been a part of the imaging technologies used to give us these images.

My main point is that in general the media has been unwilling to carefully evaluate the "low-hanging fruit" with regard to doubts about the Birth Certificate, so it's hard for me to imagine that many in the media will be straining through hours of intense study on digital imaging analysis to find a deeply hidden or esoteric nugget of truth that is damning to Obama's birth narrative assertions.

If anything I can't help but wonder if the typical journalist wouldn't respond to this by thinking, "What? Is this the best argument the birthers have? There's probably not much to this. And yet this arrogant Polland guy acts like impeachment is merely a formality once we see his work?" I think there are a number of much more obvious, much more compelling arguments that are easy picking and should take precedence over Polland's work, although I really don't want to spit upon all the work he has done for a cause that I deeply believe in.

For what I regard as the more obvious, less technocentric arguments, if you haven't already, please take a look at Mario Apuzzo's excellent Catalog of Evidence which references document forensics as a relatively small part of a long lost list of arguments. Also, I have benefited from and recommend reading stuff from The Western Center For Journalism, Alan Keyes, Leo Donofrio, Butterdezillion, Danae and Jack Cashill on this.

At the end of the day, if this Polland video is the only thing that is currently motivating you to get in touch with the media, then please don't neglect that on the basis of what I'm saying, but if you should happen to find a more readily available, easily researchable argument, let me suggest that it might improve your chances of getting more people in the media to recognize that this is a matter of genuine importance.

As has been alluded to, the Clinton's may be evil to our Constitutional Republic, but they aren't stupid.

The first "black" President and the first female co-President were not about to dis their loyal base in an attempt to out the first real black (who's really only < 50% black) candidate with a "legitimate" shot at being POTUS. Coupled with the signs of the coming economic tsunami, Billary wouldn't move to play that (perceived by many on the left) ultimate race card for the world to see.

Besides, Hillary knows who a "natural born Citizen" is...having co-sponsored non-binding Senate resolution 511 which stated McCain was a NBC because he was born to two citizen parentS.

She know's full well Barry isn't a "natural born Citizen."

Isn’t that odd, since 0bama’s mama was going to college in Washington State during the year following his birth?

Excellent point, rxsid; I had not realized Hillary co-sponsored 511. That casts her perfidy in a new, even more rancid light. That is the danger of Obama, I guess; he’s so horrible, he almost makes us forget how bad the Clintons were/are.

HM, I think Obama had Hillary boxed in from day one. Do you recall Obama playing the race card against Bill in SC? Obama dealt from the bottom of the deck, and did Bill dirty (so to speak). This was when Bill wasn’t actually doing anything even remotely racist—but it turned blacks against him.

If the Clintons or their people had actually brought up Jeremiah Wright or NBC, can you imagine the broadside Obama would have unleashed? PC, and a kneepad press that went early for Obama, hamstrung the Clintons this last go-round. Obama is a true aficionado when it comes to the race card. It is one of his few actual skills.

In Honolulu, people sometimes confuse the historical figure, Queen Kapi’olani with The Queen’s Medical Center (named for Queen Emma) and Kapi’olani Medical Center for Women and Children.
The former Governor, Linda Lingle got it right:
