Okay, many of you have learned some of the fundamentals of the art of couponing and you have gone HOG WILD! Suddenly you are stockpiling vast quantities of FREE (or almost free) stuff. However, you might also find out that you are quickly running out of space for storing all those freebies.
Welcome to the club. When I first began couponing in a big way nearly 2 years ago, I went overboard in the couponing department. Suddenly I had like a year's supply of toilet paper covering my walls. However, after a few weeks I had to ask myself whether I really enjoyed sitting down to dinner next to a wall covered with TP. The answer was NO. Therefore, after my TP supply began running low after nearly a year, I only stockpiled a modest amount which was completely hidden from view. My couponing skills have grown to the point where I never worry about running out of TP so I keep no more than about a 3 month supply on hand. Trust me, my tush will never do without TP because there are FREQUENT deals on TP as well as paper towels.

Its what the couponers call it anyways. Not sure why, but its catchy.
Walgreen's stock symbol is WAG.
Please add me to you list. I would like to begin couponing
I enjoy hoarding meat in a can. Potted meat, oysters, ham in a can, etc.
I never knew you could use a coupon on the free article.
Thanks for the info.
Don’t forget if you are using Walgreens to look for their coupon book put out each month...use it with the manufacturers coupon. It is really great for those who use high $$ supplements.
Rite Aide has a deal that if you spend $100 on supplements for a month you get $20 in register rewards. And with many of those costing $20+ a bottle it’s not hard to hit that target. I get the BOGO with coupons as we use several of those high $$ supplements. Rite Aide is the only place I can buy my Coral Calcium as a BOGO.
Walmart does not do that.
dont give the bastages any ideas...
I haven’t done much with the supplements, because I find that the prices (at least here) are so grossly inflated over Wal-Mart that even with a BOGO and a coupon, they’re still more expensive.
I did just order some Natrol coupons that might help.
They also have a winter reward of $20 +ups. I got that within my first 3 weeks of couponing...lol
Yep that is the one, got mine today, it runs out on feb 26.
So for 56 cents I got 2—12 double rolls packs of TP, baby wipes (removes makeup very well), 2 candy bars as my filler item (Hubby will eat them) + $2 in RR’s, and a bottle of Lecithin (going to see if that will help bring down my cholesterol naturally, which my synthroid med raised un-naturally).
Doc is on my case to take cholesterol med...ain’t going to happen, I already have enough muscle problems from Fibromyalgia, I don’t need more from cholesterol meds.
You have to know the prices at different places on the supplements, I usually come out about the same as doing Walmart especially on my coral calcium...it’s $10 for 100, the BOGO was a few cents higher BUT I got 200 capsules for the price of the 1, used coupons, and also got $4 in RR’s. Rite Aid is one of the few places besides Walmart that sells coral calcium which is the only one I can take.
I needed the things I bought and had coupons for all of the items.
It looks like Ester-C will be free at Rite Aid on March 6th. I’ll be stocking up on that for sure.
$5.99 BOGO - 2x $2 off coupons = $1.99 out of pocket with $2 +up. If you stack the Video Values coupon on top of that, it’s a $1 moneymaker (at least for the first one anyway).
Mentos are also free with the $.50 coupon that’s floating around out there. I wasn’t going to get them, but my wife apparently wants them, so who am I to argue?
please add me to your coupon list
Ester C will be on the list then, but you can keep the mentos...I buy chocolate and jelly beans for hubby. I can’t afford to eat those calories and still fit into my Church dresses and I’m not buying new ones...they are UGLY and cheap made and expensive street walker attire to boot.
Coffee prices hit 14-year high

Buy only the Sunday paper, it nets you the coupons and sales flyers.
Would a kind soul perhaps put out a set of bullet points for the newbies out here?
Not to be lazy, rather, some efficiencies in which websites to explore first, for example, would be most appreciated, or a quick "hi, this is how this works, generally," would be great.
Many thanks!
