This what I wrote last night after seeing the whole thing:
I just saw it Now after watching it ..Its NO wonder the media is lying about Sarah and trying to use distraction! She was not good, she was not great, she was outstanding! It was a this is my next door neighbor talking to me who I can see and feel comfortable with being in the Oval Office moment
She was really really good the facts and figures, the humor, the common sense, you could sense that the business people in the crowd were shaking their heads in agreement, She doesnt have to stray from conservatism, to get moderates and independents, they will come to her with her message, its hard to describe the whole interview in words but she can definitely win the whole shebang come 2012
Ok, because I’m a guy I had to look more than once...
As she stepped up...Thigh Highs? :) :) :)
Common sense, from the Heart with a sincere sense of urgency that reflects my desires to get this country on a solid path financially and return power to the states..
If Sarah can get her message directly to the American People unfiltered, there is no stopping her in 2012. Let the debates begin.
That’s what she has been hinting at.....going around the media at times unfiltered - I’m thinking making deals in some of these primary states first to do exclusive interviews and access into her campaign from the LOCAL STATIONS in exchange for live coverage of her events, she will probably shake more hands and do meet and greets than others and she will dominate the internet with videos and use of social network like never before.
But you are right, after seeing this I’m certain that she can win the whole thing.
I'm certain that I wish she could win the whole thing.
She's exactly who and what we need leading our country.
She is awesome.
I'm pessimistic that the establishment will allow anyone with integrity a fair shot in the process.
You only have to look as far back as the Tucson shooting to see how complicit the media is in trying to bring her down.
Until we destroy the liars, the truth will not have a chance.
The second part of my pessimism stems from my experience within my own household. My wife typifies the common reaction I've seen coming from others in that they won't even consider her as being qualified. The reason? They don't approve of the “cashing in” and publicity of her daughter.
She has my support, but she has a long uphill battle overcoming the negative onslaught from the media she's sure to have directed her way.
great job
For some reason I can’t watch the video. It keeps cutting out, stopping and the words are being cut off.
I want to see this video!
Never mind...I just deleted everything else and now the video seems to be working....woohooo!
I have been a Palin guy from day one. I have never had even a single moment of doubt.
This single interview literally screams that this wonderful woman is ready.
Once she flips the switch, there is no stopping her, there will be no holding her back..... she will capture the heart and trust of America.
It sounds like the crowd of media folks are ready to eat out of her hand.
Truthful, articulate, animated, well thought, unselfish, real, patriotic, exciting, strong, country loving and unafraid... she’s got all of that and much much more.
Palin 2012.... America needs her.
You didn’t understand what is being said.....the media can’t stop someone once she goes unfiltered - In Long Island of all places she had people nodding their head in agreement and some came out in the press saying that after see and talking to her they wanted to learn more about what she has to say....she is one of if not the best currently at retail politics
The moment she gets on stage with the others is the moment the liberal narrative start to self destruct. When people see her and listen to her they are floored. If she can go to NY and make converts, will SC and IA be just as hard?
you see where the GOP establishment is now reduced to trying to move the FL primary up to STOP PALIN since they have no one that even comes close to her in IA and SC if Huck doesn’t run?
Your anecdote is right on. Those on our side who don't yet see that Palin is our best shot are NOT stupid, idiots, or communists. Like most Palin-inclined FReepers, I'm tempted to yell at them, though, because it seems obvious that given our support, among other things, Palin could be key to turning things around, and it can be done.
Larry Elder said correctly: "The American people have a massive ability to self-correct."
When we limited government Republicans and conservatives (the two need each other to succeed) insult the non-Palin supporters among us with insults like "communist," etc., we make two mistakes: 1) they're not communists or idiots, and 2) we come from the defensive side.
We should go offense because we have the offensive position -- we just don't know it yet. But we had better wake up to a bright side: we're the majority. It's as hard to suffer good news as bad, sometimes. But truth is truth. It takes guts to pursue opportunity.
The fact is that Democrats have to cheat to win because they'd fail to get enough legitimate votes. WHY? Because their side is the minority.
Responsible Americans concerned enough to exercise their voting franchise legitimately, reject them, so Democrats have to manufacture votes and engage in fraud in a variety of ways. Liberals have gotten away with it for the past three decades because the media and popular culture are failing to represent us in how America views itself, so when we see elections go to liberals, we're pre-conditioned to accept the results of FRAUD.
Palin is everywoman. She's a regular American. I don't agree with her on all things, and I am not looking for a perfect candidate. I want what Reagan advised -- 80 percent. So far, Palin is the only candidate who comes up to the mark, but better, she is a warrior.
And she seems to have a knack for showing the values of limited government. I can imagine a lot of lightly political "liberals" who vote with little thought, watching her and thinking, "Yeah! She's right."
Her word must, can, and will get to them. Palin is the only Republican candidate on the scene with this potential.
The media is on the defensive now. Read the comments at news stories posted at yahoo sometime. I've done it twice and found readers overwhelmingly on the same general political page as FReepers. This nation's voters are begging for a real antidote to big government.
They're not idiots or communists. They're just lightly informed. We've allowed the MSM minority to bully us into silence long enough -- it stops now. Critical thinking tells us we're the majority.
(On a pragmatic note, the only way to affect true change is to require photo ID at the polls in order to vote. Take it from there -- regular auditing of voter rolls to make sure deceased don't vote; prohibiting Moter Voter and tables outside of supermarkets that make voting as simple as filling out a card. People who don't care enough to take trouble to register to vote, should refrain from voting. But it has to start with requiring photo ID.)
20 minutes into watching it now. I highly recommend everyone take the time to see this interview. Awesome!
As she stepped up...Thigh Highs? :) :) :)
“ummmmmmmm ... yeah .... boy, that was awful ... I had to watch 3-4 more times ...just to make sure ... better watch it again ....
I watched it all. Now, that may not seem like much of a thing to someone taking a cursory glance at this post, but I struggle to watch ANYTHING for more than 5 minutes typically, and I know I couldn’t watch more than 5 minutes of the Huckster, or Romney, or OMG Daniels etc. and so on and so on... ad infinitum.
