Now on bookshelves: “Deconstructing Obama: The Life, Loves and Letters of America’s First Postmodern President” by Jack Cashill, published by Simon & Shuster. He’s also convinced that former University of Illinois professor Bill Ayers — who co-founded the radical Weather Underground in 1969 — helped craft “Dreams From My Father,” the president’s much-acclaimed memoir.

When I started this inquiry, I was less interested in President Obama‘s birth certificate than I was in his SAT scores. As I got in deeper, I could see that we know more about the first few years of George Washington‘s life than we do about Barack Obama‘s,”

Postmodern is the correct adjective. We are supposed to embrace the indeterminacy of his past, not take a “God’s-eye view” (to use Hilary Putnam’s phrase), and see it as a mystery to be explicated.

It's not the press's fault - they were all up in Alaska trying to find something -

anything

on Sarah Palin ...

Reporters didn't have time to look too closely at Obama or Edwards or any democrat... teacher's pets and all...

If the MSM had found a domestic terrorists like Ayers had helped Sarah Palin write an autobiography, they would have overlooked it - just like they did with Obama.../s
