Hmm...well, consider how many replica mass shootings that prevented. Mannequins all over the country would be breathing a sigh of relief if only they could breathe.

I was at a luncheon several years ago and a gentleman I knew attended and brought his houseguest, a young man from Australia who was visiting the US for the first time. The young man gave an informal talk on the similarities and differences (this was in a farming/ranching community in Texas and he was a farmer/rancher in Australia).

The two things he said that really stuck with me was that he was struck by how many people here still attended church regularly and took God seriously, and the other thing was "don't ever let your government take away your guns." He expressed regret that Australia had allowed those two things to get away from them.
