Beaten Fox News Journalists: Arab crowd went straight for our heads

Beaten Fox News Journalists: Arab crowd went straight for our heads. A few days after being pummeled nearly to death by crowds of pro-Mubarak Arab thugs on the streets of Egypt, Fox News journalists Greg Palkot and Olaf Wiig finally felt strong enough to appear on camera and give first-hand testimony of what kind of barbarism they suffered at the hands of said thugs. To hear Palkot and Wiig tell their story, it sounded like they were right in the middle of a war zone in Tahrir Square. Particularly telling is Palkot’s testimony that the Arab crowd intentionally made a target of the journalists’ heads, which they repeatedly beat over and over and over again. Adding insult to injury, both men were interrogated by the Egyptians before being finally released.

It seems to me that the media has derived an algorithm for this: If the crowd is violent, it is a pro-Mubarak crowd. If the crowd carries posters talking about peace, it is a pro-Muslim Brotherhood crowd.

I have also noticed that when a Pro-violence crowd clashes with a pro-peace crowd, the pro-violence crowd is usually beaten into submission and forced off the streets.

Agree.

Responsible conservatives test every statement - even the ones from known reporters.

Its pretty pathetic to watch a split screen report with a reporter talking about “peaceful protesters” on one side and an effigy of Mubarak hanging and burning on the other side.

Mubarak is no angel, that’s true but Mubarak is following the Egyptian constitutional route and the protesters want mob rule which will lead to disaster to the world.

I heard very little about the “Coup” in Honduras from the media, and I guess that says a lot!

Can anyone confirm the rumor that Richard Simmons was in Cairo to teach them to throw rocks.

Altho it's not really funny but I still chuckle whenever I see videos of Arabs, especially the Pali's, throwing rocks. Obviously baseball isn't on their list of sporting activities......

Olaf Wiig, is the same cameraman who was kidnapped along with Fox News reporter Steve Centanni, while on assignment in Gaza City in 2006

Per some speculation, those two were only released because they secretly 'converted' under force.

In Honduras the congress grew uncomfortable with their presidents attempt to seize dictatorial power. Things like asking Hugo Chavez to run the election made them nervous so in a near unanimous vote in congress and supreme court they ordered him to step down or face arrest.

Obama immediately came to the defense of the “impeached” president and the media ran with a narrative that constantly used the word “coup” despite the fact it was a constitutionally mandated removal.

When Obama started getting beat up over it here he changed sides. From what I’m reading lately, our state department is trying to talk Honduran congressmen into letting the wannabe dictator return.

Journalist? Well . . . from what I've seen in decades past, up close, so-called journalists are typically hucksters trying to drum up a good story (if it bleeds it leads). Or agents provocateur working the crowd to achieve a political purpose, usually left-wing. But reporting the new!? Hardly.

I think it's a shame that there are careers named “writer”, or “journalist” or “politician”. I mean what is the value of being a “professional writer” - then writing whatever sells? These types of professions are part of the reason for the intellectual constipation of western culture (ie: FOS).

About 21, so called countries/nations, are ‘Arabic’. Which means, ‘stupid, poor, servile, cowardly, dirty’ or, ‘the peoples that sell sand to each other’. The Arab ‘World’, blights from Alantic Morrocco, all the way to Iraq. There is one flushing toilet in the Arab world. The population 600 million and not one world class university nor makes one world class product, goods, or service. ( Think welfare ghetto without the music or NBA abilities ) Less then 50 publication of all kind, are translated into Arabic in a year. Less than half can read. The other half don’t. There is no word for ‘work’ in the Arab language. The hope of every Arab mothers dream for her son is that he grows up to have a 7/11 in Detroit and cheat customers. For her daughter, a nice female circumcision with a old lawn mower blade at the age of 7 before she turns into a hookah hugging slut at age 8.

It was also speculated, IIRC, that NewsCorp paid a handsome ransom, too.

Appreciate the summary.

Since Obama’s presidency began, I’ve often wondered about his resolute stance regarding most countries, yet selective non-interference in a few key others. I believe he considers himself rather politically savvy & polished. Unfortunately, for him, that is not how he is seen in many other quarters by ordinary people, and it is becoming more obvious day by day.
