"Wow, maybe there is hope for Hollywood. 'Braveheart' screenwriter and 'Secretariat' director Randall Wallace with a beautifully delivered address on the power and importance of prayer."

Randall Wallace - Love and Honor (FR Thread) AND Love and Honor book
Disney Targeting Christians for Secretariat
Excerpt:
"Secretariat" even opens with a lengthy quote from the Bible, a portion of God's speech to Job. A trailer that includes those lines is on Christian websites all over the Internet, and some of those sites contain the earliest reviews of the film and offer users a chance to see advanced screenings.
The Bible quote is "transcendent," Wallace told The Hollywood Reporter. "I wanted to capture that timelessness and majesty. The idea that courage prevails."
The biblical quote from the movie: Job 39
21 It paws fiercely, rejoicing in its strength, and charges into the fray.
22 It laughs at fear, afraid of nothing; it does not shy away from the sword.
23 The quiver rattles against its side, along with the flashing spear and lance.
24 In frenzied excitement it eats up the ground; it cannot stand still when the trumpet sounds.

As Wallace says at the end of the thread video, "You have a prayer. Pray it. Amen."
He also wrote the lyriccs to “The Mansions of the Lord” from his film “We Were Soldiers”. The hymn was played at Reagan’s funeral.
To fallen soldiers let us sing,
Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing,
Our broken brothers let us bring
To the Mansions of the Lord.
No more bleeding, no more fight,
No prayers pleading through the night,
Just divine embrace, eternal light
In the Mansions of the Lord.
Where no mothers cry and no children weep,
We will stand and guard though the angels sleep,
Though through the ages safely keep
The Mansions of the Lord.

Thanks for posting that web site!
I watched SECRETARIAT with my GF a few weeks back and was happy that Fred Thompson is still getting roles in loony Hollywood. Plus Diane Lane is still hot even when playing a mom. We were Soldiers is still one of my fave war films..even if crazy Mel is in it.
Thank you SO much for that.
How appropriate on the great
Ronaldus Maximus’ 100th birthday.
We were so blessed.
May God ever smile on him.
..Ping!
Sure do miss President Reagan! Perfect song for his funeral. Celebrate his birth and life today.
