The Muslim Brotherhood's Long-Standing War On The West (US Politicians)

In the United States, one individual maintained a pretense of "moderation" which would later embarrass the left and the right. According to the testimony of Dr. Michael Waller to the US Senate Committee on the Judiciary, Abdurahman Alamoudi was a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. A man born in Eritrea in 1951, he arrived in the US in 1979 and became a naturalized US citizen on May 23, 1996. From 1985 onwards he became involved in many Muslim groups. In 1990 he founded the Washington DC-based American Muslim Council (AMC), which Waller states "has been described as a de facto front of the Muslim Brotherhood." The AMC was an affiliate of the American Muslim Foundation, which was also headed by Alamoudi. Despite this, in June 2002 the FBI called the AMC "the most mainstream Muslim group in the United States."

What is of concern is the manner in which Alamoudi persuaded US authorities under two administrations of his reliability. Around 1993, he was an adviser for the Pentagon on which Muslim chaplains should serve in the US military. He continued this role until 1998. From 1997 he acted for the State Department as a "goodwill ambassador" to Muslim countries. He was regularly at the Clinton White House and had advised Hillary Rodham Clinton on managing iftar dinners since 1996. Alamoudi had made donations to the Democrat party but was open to wooing the opposition.

In 1998, as Frank Gaffney recounted, Republican Grover Norquist formed the Islamic Institute, which aimed to recruit Muslim and Arab Americans to support the GOP. Alamoudi made contributions both to the Islamic Institute and later, in 2000 and 2001, he made payments to a lobbying firm connected with Norquist.

Alamoudi's Brotherhood connections were not touted openly, but in August 1997, he was publicly proclaiming on Fox TV that Hamas was a "freedom fighting organization". Hamas had started its first bombings of Israeli civilians in February 1996, a year earlier. On October 28, 2000, Alamoudi attended an anti-Israel protest at Lafayette Park outside the White House, where he was caught on video proclaiming "I have been labeled… as being a supporter of Hamas. Anybody supporters of Hamas here? Hear that, Bill Clinton. We are all supporters of Hamas. I wish they added that I am also a supporter of Hezbollah. Anybody who supports Hezbollah here?"

Shortly after the White House outburst, Hillary Clinton returned a donation of $1,000 to her election war chest, which Alamoudi had presented on May 25 of that year. Alamoudi embarked upon at least 10 clandestine trips to Libya. On September 28, 2003, after returning from a multi-stage excursion he was arrested at Dulles International Airport. He was handed a 19-count indictment on October 23, on charges including money laundering and dealing with a prohibited nation.

Alamoudi had been stopped at Heathrow on August 16, 2003 before boarding a flight to Syria, and had $340,000 of Libyan money seized. On July 30, 2004, he pleaded guilty to three charges - violating conditions barring transport to, and commerce with, prohibited nations (Libya), failure to disclose to IRS his income, and lying to ICE federal investigators. On October 15, 2004, Alamoudi was given a jail sentence of 23 years. He had told officials that he provided Libyan money to London-based Saudi dissidents to finance a plot to assassinate Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah.

Politicians may have been fooled by Alamoudi, who headed sixteen US-based Islamist organizations, but despite what is known of the Muslim Brotherhood's support of terrorism and extremism, US politicians are now openly courting the Brotherhood. On April 5 this year in Egypt. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer met with Mohammed Saad el-Katani, the leader of the Brotherhood's 55 members within the Egyptian parliament. Hamdi Hassan, the Brotherhood's spokesman, said Hoyer met with el-Katani once at the parliament building and later at the home of the US ambassador to Egypt.

On May 27, a delegation by four members of the House of Congress again met with Mohammed Saad el-Katani in Egypt. The delegation was led by David Price, a Democrat who represents North Carolina....[...]

November 5, 1990 and After: US Promotes Lone Gunman Theory in Kahane Assassination, Hiding Evidence of Al-Qaeda -

...Nosair is captured a few blocks from the murder site after a police shoot-out. An FBI INFORMANT SAYS HE SAW NOSAIR MEETING WITH MUSLIM LEADER Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman a few days before the attack, and EVIDENCE INDICATING A WIDER PLOT WITH ADDITIONAL TARGETS IS QUICKLY FOUND. Later that night, police arrive at Nosair’s house and find a pair of Middle Eastern men named Mahmud Abouhalima and Mohammed Salameh there. They are taken in for questioning. Additionally, police collect a total of 47 boxes of evidence from Nosair’s house, including: [Lance, 2003, pp. 34-35]

Tape-recorded phone conversations of Nosair reporting to Abdul-Rahman about paramilitary training, and even DISCUSSING BOMB-MAKING MANUALS.

Videotaped talks that ALI MOHAMED delivered at the John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.

TOP SECRET MANUALS ALSO FROM FORT BRAGG. There are even CLASSIFIED documents belonging to the US Joint Chiefs of Staff and the Commander in Chief of the Army’s Central Command. These manuals and documents had clearly come from MOHAMED, WHO COMPLETED MILITARY SERVICE AT FORT BRAGG THE YEAR BEFORE AND FREQUENTLY STAYED AT NOSAIR’S HOUSE.

A detailed and top secret plan for Operation Bright Star, a special operations training exercise simulating an attack on Baluchistan, a part of Pakistan between Afghanistan and the Arabian Sea. Also within hours, two investigators will connect Nosair with surveillance PHOTOGRAPHS OF MOHAMED GIVING WEAPONS TRAINING TO Nosair, Abouhalima, Salameh, AND A SHOOTING RANGE THE YEAR BEFORE (see July 1989). [Lance, 2003, pp. 34-35]

BUT, ignoring all of this evidence, still later that evening, Joseph Borelli, the New York police department’s chief detective, will publicly declare the assassination the work of a “LONE DERANGED GUNMAN.” He will further state, “I’m STRONGLY CONVINCED that he acted alone.… He DIDN’T SEEM TO BE part of a conspiracy or any terrorist organization.”

THE 9/11 CONGRESSIONAL INQUIRY (COVER-UP) WILL LATER CONCLUDE, “The [New York Police Department] and the District Attorney’s office… reportedly wanted the appearance of speedy justice and a quick resolution to a volatile situation. Abouhalima and Salameh are RELEASED, only to be later convicted for participating in the 1993 bombing of the World Trade Center. INVESTIGATORS WILL LATER FIND IN NOSAIR’S POSSESSIONS A FORMULA FOR A BOMB ALMOST IDENTICAL TO THE ONE USED IN THE WTC BOMBING. [New Yorker, 3/17/1995]

As one FBI agent will later put it, “THE FACT IS THAT IN 1990, MYSELF AND MY DETECTIVES, WE HAD OUR OFFICE IN HANDCUFFS, THE PEOPLE WHO BLEW UP THE WORLD TRADE CENTER IN ‘93. WE WERE TOLD TO RELEASE THEM.”

The 47 BOXES OF EVIDENCE collected at Nosair’s house that evening are STORED AWAY, INACCESSIBLE TO PROSECUTORS AND INVESTIGATORS. THE DOCUMENTS FOUND WILL NOT BE TRANSLATED UNTIL AFTER THE WORLD TRADE CENTER BOMBING. Nosair will later be acquitted of Kahane’s murder (though he will be convicted of lesser charges), as investigators will continue to ignore all evidence that could suggest Nosair did not act alone (see December 7, 1991). District Attorney Robert Morgenthau, who prosecuted the case, will later speculate the CIA may have encouraged the FBI not to pursue any other leads. Nosair worked at the Al-Kifah Refugee Center which was CLOSELY TIED TO COVERT CIA OPERATIONS IN AFGHANISTAN(see Late 1980s and After). [New Yorker, 3/17/1995]

The FBI is apparently under PRESSURE TO BACKOFF from investigating Sheikh Omar Abdul-Rahman. One week after the murder of Zionist rabbi Meir Kahane, a long-time FBI counterterrorism expert meets with one of his top undercover operatives.

According to the FBI agent, the undercover operative asks, “WHY AREN’T WE GOING AFTER THE SHEIKH [Abdul-Rahman]?”

He further explains, “It was NO ACCIDENT that the Sheikh GOT A VISA and that he’s still in the country. HE’S HERE UNDER THE BANNER OF NATIONAL SECURITY, THE STATE DEPARTMENT, THE NSA, AND THE CIA.”

THE AGENT CONCUDES THAT ABDUL-RAHMAN IS UNTOUCHABLE.

Noting how the government is already firmly suggesting that El Sayyid Nosair was the only one involved in Kahane’s murder, he says, “I haven’t seen the lone-gunman theory advocated [so forcefully] since John F. Kennedy.”

PENTAGON SAYS IT HOSTED RADICAL CLERIC AFTER 9-11

WASHINGTON (AP) — Radical Muslim cleric Anwar al-Awlaki lunched at the Pentagon as part of a program to reach out to moderate Muslims in the months after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, a military official said Thursday.

The U.S.-born al-Qaida operative is now on a U.S. kill-or-capture list.

U.S. investigators say e-mails link al-Awlaki to the Army psychiatrist accused of last year’s killings at Fort Hood, Texas. They also say that he helped prepare Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab, accused in the Christmas airline bombing attempt, and that he had links to the failed Times Square bombing.

Marine Corps Col. Dave Lapan, a Pentagon spokesman, said al-Awlaki was invited to the Department of Defense’s headquarters after 9/11 as part of a broader effort under then Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld to establish better ties with the Muslim community.

Al-Awlaki’s Pentagon lunch was first reported by Fox News, which cited FBI sources and documents.

The 9/11 Commission reported that al-Awlaki was interviewed at least four times in two weeks following the Sept. 11 attacks about his dealings with three of the hijackers aboard the flight that slammed into the Pentagon. But it said it didn’t know enough about Al-Awlaki’s relationship with the hijackers to say whether he was aware of the plot.

The report said he had also been investigated by the FBI in 1999 and 2000 for having been “contacted by a possible procurement agent for (Osama) bin Laden” and for connections to extremist fundraising groups. None of the investigations led to criminal charges against him.

Born in New Mexico, al-Awlaki at first served primarily as an inspiration for would-be militant fighters. But intelligence agents said he later took on an operational role, prompting the Obama administration to add him to the government’s list of wanted terror suspects. He’s now thought to be hiding in Yemen.

Al-QAEDA PROPAGANDIST ANWAR AL-AWLAKI SENTENCED TO TEN YEARS IN PRISON -

Fugitive al-Qaeda propagandist Anwar al-Awlaki has received a ten year sentence for his role in the murder of a French energy contractor.

A Yemeni criminal court said the killing of Jacques Spagnolo was “committed under the incitement” of al-Awlaki. It held Othman al-Awlaki, a relative of al-Awlaki who is also on the run, guilty on the same charges. Hisham Mohammad Assem, who gunned down Mr Spagnolo near Sana’a in October, has been given a death sentence.

Prosecutors have said that al-Awlaki corresponded with Assem for months, encouraging him to kill foreigners.

Mr Spagnolo, who worked for energy group OMV, was gunned down at the company’s compound in Sanaa on October 6, the same day a British embassy car was targeted in a rocket attack.

Assem was overpowered and arrested.

Mohammed al-Saqqaf, a lawyer for both Anwar and Othman al-Awlaki, told the court that the pair had no “connection or contact” with Assem.

Assem’s lawyer, too, denied that his client had been in touch with al-Awlaki.

“I reject the verdict and will appeal,” Assem said from the court security cage.

Witnesses, however, testified in court that they saw Assem fire on Spagnolo, with one saying that after the killing the defendant “went looking for the manager of OMV, an American national, to kill him.”

Earlier this year President Barack Obama’s administration authorised the killing of US-born al-Awlaki, the first citizen of the country to be thus targeted.

Al-Awlaki has been linked to a US army major charged with shooting dead 13 people in Fort Hood, Texas in November 2009 and to a Nigerian student accused of trying to blow up a Northwest Airlines flight on December 25 that year.

In a video posted on extremist websites, al-Awlaki has called for the killing of Americans “without hesitation.” “It’s either us or you,” al-Awlaki said, addressing Americans in the video.

Yemen, the ancestral homeland of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, has seen intense fighting in recent months between al-Qaeda terrorists and the country’s armed forces.

OBAMA APPOINTS 2 “DEVOUT” MUSLIMS TO THE DEPT. OF HOMELAND SECURITY -

The word “Devout” sometimes means “Radical”. There is no way of knowing the personal history of these Muslims, new appointees to Home Land Security. Some Muslims have indicated they want nothing to do with “Radical Muslim” beliefs.....indicating they want to mainstream into American Society. Many other Muslims have indicated they belong to the “Brotherhood”, and wish to replace American culture and law with Muslim culture and law (these Muslims are a clear and present danger).

Obama appointed two devout Muslims to homeland security posts - KAREEM SHORA and ARIF ALIKHAN

Obama and Janet Napolitano appointed Arif Alikhan, a devout Muslim, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development. DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano swore-in Kareem Shora, a devout Muslim, who was born in Damascus, Syria, as ADC National Executive Director as a member of the Homeland Security Advisory Council (HSAC).

NOTE: Has anyone ever heard a new government official being identified as a devout Catholic, a devout Jew or a devout Protestant...? Just wondering.

Devout Muslims being appointed to critical Homeland Security positions? Doesn’t this make you feel safer already?? That should make our home land much safer, huh!?

OBAMA’S WAR ON AMERICA

...It was particularly noticeable to anyone paying attention that Obama has yet to have called the Fort Hood massacre an act of Islamic “terrorism” despite ample evidence that it was. (yet he got all macho and put al-Awlaki-Yemen on a kill list - why? - so many questions).

Within his administration, some very strange appointments are occurring, not the least of which is the presidential appointment of ARIF ALIKHAN to a top job in Homeland Security. Alikhan is a Muslim and a former Los Angeles Deputy Mayor.

In his new job, Alikhan will be the Assistant Secretary for the Office of Policy Development. In his former job, he was in charge of public safety for the city and observers noted that HE WAS RESPONSIBLE FOR DERAILING THE LA POLICE DEPARTMENT’S PLAN TO MONITOR ACTIVITIES AND INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE MUSLIM COMMUNITY.

Vincent Gioia, a retired patent attorney, living in Palm Desert, California, first called this to public attention in late September on his blog. Gioia noted that Los Angeles is home to “NUMEROUS RADICAL MOSQUES” and where “some of the 9/11 hijackers had received support from local residents. “Alikhan is strongly anti-Israel; he has referred to the terrorist organization HEZBOLLAH as a ‘LIBERATION MOVEMENT’” DESPITE THE FACT THAT IT”S ON THE U.S. OFFICIAL TERRORIST LIST.

If Alikhan was opposed to law enforcement authorities monitoring individuals, organizations, and local mosques in Los Angeles, one must assume that it will become the policy of the Homeland Security Department on a nationwide basis.

The failure of law enforcement and national security agencies to alert the military that the Fort Hood murderer was known or suspected of being a jihadist suggests that failures of this sort on a national basis will guarantee more 9/11s.

In late September, Janet Napolitano, the Homeland Security Secretary swore into office Damascus-born KAREEM SHORA, the national executive director of the American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee, to a position on the Homeland Security Advisory Council, a group of “national security experts that advises the Secretary. One can only imagine what kind of advice she will be receiving from someone heading up an organization whose purpose is to whitewash the continuing record of Islamic terrorist activities in America.

SAMANTHA POWER is a member of Obama’s National Security Council and is widely known for her anti-Israel views including the notion that everything the U.S. does in the Middle East reflects Israeli influence. Responsible for shaping national security policies, Power reportedly doesn’t believe Iran is developing nuclear weapons despite the fact that it is obvious to everyone that it is…and bragging about it. Presumably her advice to the president will favor America’s and Israel’s enemies.

What is apparent to anyone paying attention is that Obama has surrounded himself with the most radical advisors and members of the administration imaginable. It was bad enough that FDR’s and Truman’s administration had been thoroughly infiltrated by Soviet agents, but Obama’s is blatant about its choices.

There’s CHIEF DIVERSITY OFFICER, Federal Communications Commission, MARK LLOYD, WHO FORMERLY WORKED FOR GEORGE SOROS, the billionaire who funds anti-America groups. Lloyd publicly praised Venezuelan Communist dictator, Hugo Chavez. He’s no fan of the First Amendment or of conservative radio and television news commentators.

Obama’s ambassador to the United Nations, SUSAN RICE, who has been oblivious to the failings of the UN. She is on the board of the UN Fund for UNICEP, an agency that has reportedly been “repeatedly caught giving aid to terrorists.” She is the epitome of see now evil, hear no evil.”

Another appointee with ties to GEORGE SOROS is ROSA BROOKS who used to work for a foundation funded by him. She has never seen a terrorist group that wasn’t the fault of America’s war on terrorism. No fan of the war in Iraq, one must assume this applies as well to Afghanistan. SHE IS UNDER-SECRETARY of DEFENSE FOR POLICY!

This is the pattern at this point, barely a year into the Obama administration, and it is confirmation that Obama is more involved with his war on America than any other enemies on his radar screen.

Was it not men of the “Devout Muslim Faith” that flew planes into U.S. building not to long ago. What the hell is the president thinking?

Arif Alikhan, currently deputy mayor for the city of Los Angeles, was appointed as assistant secretary for the Office of Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security.

AT A BANQUET/FUNDRAISER FOR THE ISLAMIC SHURA COUNCIL of Southern California last weekend, the first speaker was Arif Alikhan (Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles - in charge of public safety for the city). He bid farewell, as he is going to take a post as Assistant Secretary at the Department of Homeland Security. Arif Alikhan is a devout Sunni and the son of Pakistani immigrants (here).

PROFESSOR AGHA SAEED of the American Muslim Task Force (AMT) spoke of the aftermath of 9/11 and the struggle of the Muslim Community against the pervasive atmosphere of Islamophobia and hatred. It was a struggle against the tide - a very strong tide - to prevent Muslims in America from being marginalized and silenced.

This is where Alikhan spoke? He was comfortable with this terror talk?

WHY ALIKHAN? DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano noted Alikhan’s “BROAD AND IMPRESSIVE ARRAY OF EXPERIENCE IN NATIONAL SECURITY, EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS AND COUNTERTERRORISM.” I am not sure what she is talking about (neither is she, I am sure.)

Arif Alikhan was appointed Deputy Mayor of LA – PICKED FROM RELATIVE OBSCURITY.

HE BEGAN HIS CAREER seven years ago, when he took a job with the Department of Justice hunting down computer hackers, crooks who were selling merchandise on Ebay at rock-bottom prices. In his former position as an assistant US attorney, Alikhan consistently did his work accurately and silently, never producing any headlines. BUT THEN HE SUDDENLY BECAME ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT MEN IN LOS ANGELES, AMERICA’S SECOND-LARGEST CITY AFTER NEW YORK.

He took the position of Deputy Mayor in November 2006. The year that the Congress went Democrat and history and America took a disastrous turn. How does an obscure bureaucrat a and devout Muslim come to the position of Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles - in charge of public safety for the city? And now Assistant Secretary to DHS?

The controversial Muslim ‘Mapping’ Plan of the Los Angeles Police Department is now “dead on arrival” according to Chief William Bratton.

“IT IS OVER AND NOT JUST PUT ON THE SIDE,” said Chief Bratton in a meeting with the Muslim leadership of Southern California on Thursday, November 15th. THE MEETING WAS MODERATED BY DEPUTY MAYOR OF LOS ANGELES, ARIF ALIKHAN and attended by Deputy Chief Mike Downing.

Chief Bratton acknowledged the hurt and offense caused to Muslims and agreed to send a letter to the Muslim community announcing the official termination of the ‘mapping’ plan.

A major reason for the termination of the ‘mapping’ plan was the Muslim community’s vociferous opposition and active civic engagement in making themselves heard beyond Los Angeles. Muslim organizations demonstrated a strong unity of purpose and message on the issue of ‘mapping’ that led to a position of strength for Muslims in the meeting. Those involved in the initial phases of this controversy were the Islamic Shura Council of Southern California, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, the Muslim Public Affairs Council, and Muslim Advocates.

Today, the people of Los Angeles spoke and the City of Los Angeles listened to the collective voice for justice and civil rights.

Many of the companies can be connected to Jimmy Carter and GH Bush’ Bretton Woods Institute - see first page of this thread. Noblis Inc for one - Lockheed Martin - and the same people are always involved with the Indian Nation - another area where a lot of our money is funneled. How much money get to these poverty programs and how much is siphoned off and into the coffers of the NEO activists? What percentage do these defense contracts/contractors have to pay-back into the same coffers? These people desperately need a never-ending supply of money, they were depending on Obama delivering them trillions at the European Carbon Exchange Summit, but even a Nobel Prize didn’t do it. Dear Secretary Napolitano:

We the undersigned organizations object to the Transportation Security Administration’s screening
standards issued on January 3, 2010. These standards mandate enhanced security measures for individuals
coming from 14 countries, those identified as state sponsors of terrorism, and other “countries of interest.”
With the exception of Cuba, this directive targets individuals, including US citizens, traveling from
Muslim-majority or Middle Eastern countries with no regard as to whether the passenger poses an individualized threat.

Implementation of this policy will result in racial and ethnic profiling, a practice that the DHS has repeatedly disavowed. For instance, on the TSA website, it explicitly states, “TSA does not conduct ethnic or religious profiling, and employs multiple checks and balances to ensure profiling does not happen.”1

Importantly, profiling on the basis of ethnicity and national origin is also an unreliable means of
identifying criminal behavior. These new procedures parallel the National Security Entry/Exit Registration
System (NSEERS), put into effect shortly after 9/11. Despite tracking at least 83,000 individuals from
Middle Eastern and Muslim-majority countries, the NSEERS program did not result in a single terrorism conviction. Neither NSEERS nor the new TSA standards, make us safer because they divert attention and resources away from legitimate leads and identifying suspicious behavior.

All of us are concerned about the security of our nation. However, security policies based on ETHNIC AND RELIGIOUS PROFILING (my emphasis) are both ineffective and contrary to constitutional principles. Terrorism is neither ethnically nor geographically confined.

We respectfully request that you withdraw the new security directive that targets all individuals traveling from specific countries, and that we be provided a copy. We also respectfully request a meeting with you to directly express our concerns.

CC ARIF ALIKHAN (ex-Deputy Mayor, LA) who just happened to get the “Muslim ‘Mapping’ Plan” aka Muslim Terror Tracking Plan rescinded (see previous post) made everyone happy except the tax-paying public. Capt William Bratton agreed with ARIF ALIKHAN and took the plan completely off the table stating it was “dead on arrival” (see previous post). Instead they instituted the NATIONAL COUNTER-TERRORISM ACADEMY (NCTA) at the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). I have no idea what that’s all about but would assume it’s a very PC program where one doesn’t profile period. So if one has to paw over a 3y/o, 70 y/o Nun or a Korean Vet in a wheel-chair then that’s just fine.

Within a few days - the Assistant Secretary Policy - Arif Alikhan and staff at the Department of Homeland Security rescinded the Policy which Muslim Groups found offensive.

PS: One can almost picture Kareem W. Shora’ rubbing his hands in the background at all the new policies he’ll “help” draft. See how it’s done.

Executive Summary in a nutshell -

Thesis - The Muslim World don’t like us nor do the majority of people in – Latin America, Western Europe, the former Soviet Union, and other parts of Asia.

Solution - Transition countries in the ME, build them up, reform the USA so we’re equal, give them lots of jobs to ensure this global-equality, exchange our culture for theirs aka absorb the whole Islamic shebang aka SUBMIT.
