The Demoralization of Palin Supporters
Conservatives4Palin ^ | February 1, 2011 | Sheya

Ever since Governor Palin stepped on to the national stage, there has been a coordinated attempt to take her out. The liberals, the media, and even people in her own party have been on a rampage to destroy her. They went as far as sabotaging her administration to force her to resign so they could use another talking point against her. I’ve said this before but if Governor Palin hadn’t resigned, they would have went with the talking point that if she really cared about her state, she would have resigned. Nothing Governor Palin did was good enough for them. All this was in an attempt to demoralize the Governor and keep her out of national politics.

What they didn’t calculate is that Governor Palin is pretty good at taking the shots – as a matter of fact, they only make her stronger. The more they attack her, the stronger she gets. With that effort failing, they have to divert to plan B: demoralize her supporters. Peel off her base slice by slice. Frustrate us and make sure we eventually give up.

First, they label us stupid and uneducated with the hope that will break us. Hey, no one wants to be told they are stupid.

Then they’ll tell us that we shouldn’t kid ourselves, she’s not running, “She isn’t doing anything that potential candidates usually do”, “She isn’t building a team”, “She’s got nothing in Iowa”. Basically telling us to quit while we’re ahead.

They know she’s inevitable.

They knew it the first time they saw her.

It's why they go insane every time they think of her.

ineluctable

The non-believers are counting on us supporters to burn out before she even declares! What they don’t understand is that we understand the world of politics and are waiting for the go ahead from the Palin’s who must decide themselves.

We’ll be here when she’s ready...

If she decides not to run, she WILL be there to help out the most conservative candidate running.

Either way, Sarah is a massive force not to be discounted!

Hell, being called stupid by a lefty is actually a compliment, because — let’s face it — lefties and the truth are permanently estranged.

Not to mention Lefties and intelligence.

Good article.

Here's one Palin supporter that's not going to burn out. I have been close to her, as many of you have. I have looked into her eyes. I have seen and heard and read of her all I need to know to check or write her name on my ballot.

I’m always amazed at how many people think I only like Sarah Palin because she’s attractive (I’m a young guy). It’s not calling me stupid directly, but it is very close. “Eric only likes Sarah because she’s hot” aka “Eric’s too stupid to care about a candidate’s positions he only cares about looks.”

I like Sarah Palin because she stands for what I stand for. And I don’t care what the pundits or other people think they can go support their mediocre candidates. Make mine Palin!

They will dig into their pasts til they find something, anything to bring them down

And if that doesnt work they will just lie. That's where we come in to fight the lies.

I was disappointed in both Brit Hume and Bill Krystol, both of them have said in recent weeks that they believe she is not running. Yes I know Brit has said that after seeing her video regarding Tucson, that it looked to him like she was running, but again this was after criticizing her for making the video.

Yes lots of people piling on. Krystol had been a big supporter of Sarah`s. I took his, she is not running comment as a slam

For two years, Governor Palin has been taking the shots on our behalf. Now it’s up to us to take the shots for her.

This is exactly how I feel. If Sarah only knew how many are willing to move to the front lines in her defense, she'd be blown away. But it's not just her defense, it's the defense of our country and all that's under attack from the left.

Sarah's the Flying Fortress of Freedom that took to the air not long ago. She's been getting flak from every side of the aisle, but keeps on flying. They'll be sending their best 'Aces' to take her out the moment she announces, but that's when things will get interesting: P-51s and Spitfires will appear out of nowhere to take them on. A battle in the skies like never seen before. Because it's a battle for America, all of it, and they know it. We know it now, too.

They know they can't allow her to deliver her payload- their big government will crumble, their socialist dream to 'fundamentally transform America' will be smashed, their reckless spending ended, and their desire to squash American exceptionalism will die on the vine. And the two forces aligned to attack and destroy us, communism and radical Islam, will have met their match.

What they don't know is that they will never succeed in trying to kill America from within. There are too many Americans who won't stand for it. And these are the people who'll be showing up at Sarah's rallies. These are the people who'll be giving money to her campaign. Freedom and liberty are fires that burn in the heart and can't be extinguished with lies and promises of 'security', be it social or medical, from a state with no second thoughts about placing it's boot on the people's neck.

Government is good, up to a point. We past that point long ago with trillions in debt that our grandchildren will struggle slavishly to pay off. Well, not my grandchildren if I have anything to say about it. Enslaving people with debt is the Left's idea of compassion. I have a better idea: arrest the sonofabitch who's stolen my credit card. I'll show you 'compassion'! Retiring Obama to the mean streets of Chicago will be easy compared to gutting every socialist/collectivist institution in this country.

This is not a time for squishy conservatism. Liberty cannot exist with hints of tyranny, be it Mass-care, cap-n-tax, or high taxes and Willie Green II. Romney, Gingrich, and Huckleberry might want to consider this before debating Sarah nationally and making fools of themselves. Then again, Orville Redenbacher makes some mean popcorn.

“Krystol had been a big supporter of Sarah`s. I took his, she is not running comment as a slam “

I think you are misinformed. They are/have avoided her like the plague. Krystol and the Weekly Standard are neocon, CFR, Bildeberg, Tri-lateral Commission, new world order, phony RINO style conservatives. Romney is their boy. Even Buckley’s National Review falls in that mode. Try Newsmax or American Spectator if you want TRUE conservative publications.

Most of the pundits on Fox News fall in that category - Krauthead, Gingrich, Rove, Barnes, O’Reilly, et al.
