Something doesn’t add up here:
Back in June 2008, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned short form of his Hawaii birth certificate. When people questioned the scanning, a few carefully chosen media types were invited to attest to the underlying long-form document’s authenticity, including FactCheck.org:
FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as “supporting documents” to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.
FactCheck included pictures of a real document purporting to be a genuine long-form Hawaiian “Barack Hussein Obama” birth certificate.
Recently, the new Hawaii governor announced that he’s now going to make publicly available to all Americans, not just a few media partisans, the original long form birth certificate. One problem: He says that he can’t find the darn thing. Fortunately for Abercrombie’s abortive effort, the New York Times has reminded him of the same law Obama relied on in 2008 to keep his originalbirth certificate out of sight: only the birth child himself can release a Hawaiian birth certificate.

Yep, considering the tendency of people to flap their jaws and sell out to the highest bidder, a hell of a lot of energy is going in suppressing this thing.
My bet is there’s something on the official BC they don’t want the world to see, but not necessarily the place of birth. Maybe the race of the baby was states as “Caucausian” for example. If you were a white family with a kid that’s half and half in ‘62, which would you put down?

The Soetoro adoption was annulled in 1971 when Obama Sr. complained he, the paternal parent, was not properly notified of adoption proceeding.
A Hawaii family ruled the Soetoro adoption was annulled and a new birth certificate was to be created, i.e. the COLB shown by FactCheck.org.
So, when someone announces they’ve seen the original vital records for Barack Hussein Obama II, they are referring the the COLB created by court order in 1971.

The law doesn't care about biology, the law cares about legal paperwork.
Whoever’s name is on the BC for 0bama as his father is his “legal” father. No DNA relationship required.
Just ask a guy who found out that “his” children that he has been paying child support have no DNA relationship to him - the law cares not, he is still “legally” the father of those children.

If I commit fraud, I’m not going to be able to play these stupid games to hide from prosecution. The FBI would have my records in a few hours. They’d have a probe up my posterior before that, with crystal clear pictures if they wanted to.
We’ve got a guy with his finger on the nuclear trigger, who is selling out this nation over and over again. The reaction, why we can’t demand proof. That would be unfair.

That would be true if the Soetoro adoption took place in Hawaii. Why would an Indonesian national adopt a child in a U.S. court?
If they touched it, they committed a crime. Hawaii says you must have a tangible interest. Even the abercommie cant get the certificate to “touch” it.

I suspect it’s the parentage that is the embarassment, although I would not be surprised if it was the birth place. Either way, Obama is not giving the straight goods. Amazing how a relatively young, “brilliant” man was able to get all those degrees without many people who would have been his classmates having any recollection of him.
The damn dog ate it, OK? Maybe it fell behind a filing cabinet? It was in his pocket and got washed? Did he look on the hall table? Here's what we'll do to satify you right wing fanatics. We'll just make a new one from the facts on that COLB that's on the internet. It will be an official Hawaii document.
And anyway, a 1960's Hawaii Birth certificate is nowhere near as reliable as a 1960's Honolulu Dog License, or Hawaii Car Title.
There's one other thing here: It's Aunt Zeituni. Her health is shaky and this kind of inquiry is very upsetting to her. So stop. OK?

That may be true for child support payments. It is not true, however, for citizenship claims. There must be a blood relationship in order to claim U.S. citizenship. See the U.S. Department of State Foreign Affairs manual for details.
Ok? So...these guys the ‘official’ documenter of eligibility?
I mean who would say, ‘Hey you know that guy we just put in charge of the CIA/NSA/FBI? Yeah, you know that guy? Well, FactCheck.org said he is vetted. So we gave him the job.’
Am I in some alternate universe? Or something. It just seems that all of ‘reality’ has suddenly gone crazy.
