John Edwards, as everyone knows is a complete scumbag, a liar, and an all around terrible human being. Just today it was reported that he knew about the money being funneled to his then mistress, Rielle “Just-call-me-Mommy” Hunter. Add this to litany of other sketchy, if not illegal, things he’s done and it truly becomes mind-blowing. This man was a U.S. Senator, and was three million votes away from becoming the Vice President of the United States. As much as I want to turn this into a “look who the Democrats are promoting as candidates” style post, you just can’t. No one had any idea this guys was such a terrible person (and if they did they’re even worse for putting up with it).
The killer is that you know he loves ANY media attention he gets, whether it’s positive or negative. I propose as part of our “new tone,” that people are talking about, we should stop talking about these sorts of people. It’s a waste of anyone’s time to sit through a news story about this clown. He serves no purpose and was nothing short of a scar on what’s left of the dignity of the Senate.
Throw him in jail already, and let him become “oh so pretty” to a prison pimp.

That clown always stuck me as more the weatherman type or the gameshow host type than the US congressman type.
Worse than that could be that we end up with someone at the White House who might sound like a Communist, act like a communist, and be surrounded by communists, and have been mentored by a bunch of communists in his early political and educational life.
He was a scumbag - and the MSM, including the New York Times - did their best to cover for him...
You think that Algore was an improvement over Edwards? They are both cut of the same democrat vice-presidential cloth.
Unfortunately, we only found this out after the elections. Perhaps exposing and ridiculing a guy like this now will discourage others from running in the future.
Edwards was light years better than what we have.
Actually, I think Kerry was even worse. They sure do come up with some very strange people. And the MSM loves them. It took a supermarket tabloid to kill off Edwards.

Much of the MSM was willing to back him to be President - not just VP.

Used car salesmen are at least doing something worthwhile in the economy. He always struck me as the lowest of the low, a plaintiff’s attorney, you know, ambulance chaser type.

Elizabeth Edwards, while serving as his unassailable (dying of cancer) attack dog knew what a reprehensible scum bag she was attempting to foist off upon us as a legitimate Presidential candidate.
Next we’ll find out that he can’t even really ‘channel’ dead babies...
Actually, I believe flipping a mere twenty thousand votes in Ohio would have made Jean-François Kerry-Heinz president.
