Was it because she wanted to be "Mrs. VP", with all the power, attention, and attendant trappings? Or, because she knew the public spotlight would prevent him from dumping her for the other woman? Or, did she really want to dump him on us so that she'd be rid of him? Or some other theory?
Who knows. More important is that the MSM knew all this, covered it up, and allowed themselves to get scooped by a Supermarket tabloid.
