Ping Pong.
I have fond memories of that sport since we had a ping pong table in our enclosed patio when I was a kid. Other kids from around the neighborhood would gather and play and the early evenings after supper were punctuated by the sound of the paddles smacking the ping pong balls. However, all was not sweetness and light. I still remember when the kid we called The Monk, who had what we would now call Anger Management problems, would often turn bright red with rage when he narrowly lost and would frequently smash open the ping pong balls with his paddle. Once he even tossed a ping pong ball into his mouth and began angrily chewing on it.
Ping Pong even featured in diplomacy since Red China first opened itself up to the USA by inviting the American Ping Pong team into that sealed nation. At the time legend had it that Senators Spong and Fong sponsored a bill to recognize this diplomatic effort by the mass ringing of church to mark the arrival of the American Ping Pong team in Hong Kong following its tour of China. Supposedly it was called the Spong-Fong Hong Kong Ping Pong Ding Dong Bell Bill.
Yes...I know, I know. By now you are angrily screaming "Enough with this Ping Pong shtick! Teach me how to save a bundle of money via Ping Pong couponing. Well here goes...

OW - OUCH! That's gonna leave a mark.

How do you get $4 off coupons. I found $1.50 and $1 off, but not $4.
Is it a secret?
Gee, I notice there’s no reply.....
Of course, that’s not new, is it.
Therein lies the rub.
How strict is Walgreens regarding coupon expiration dates?
I will answer for you. You have to buy them from somewhere at this point...and they aren’t cheap.
The problem with this deal is finding the stock. So once you spend your money on coupons then you have to hunt out a store that has a big quantity or go store to store hoping to find 4.
Sinex is in short supply because this deal has been off and on. It is coming again at the end of the month and you have two days before the coupon expires.
The arnicare deal is a better deal to wet your feet because the coupon is printable and it is a month long deal next month.
HOWEVER, the coupon beeps so that will be a fight in some stores because of worry about internet fraud.
Maalox is a huge money maker next week. Again, problem is the high cost of the coupon and finding stock. I ordered a huge amount of Maalox. NONE came in. Hopefully it will next week.
Stock is one of the big problems in doing Walgreens deals. I had a huge amount of RRs expiring this week and got thrown in a tizzy when one of my products that I ordered didn’t come in. You have to be able to change your plans in a heartbeat when one of the many factors doesn’t come together.
Thanks for the advice.
can you answer my question to PJ @ post#24?
Melotonin freebies on 1/30 but coupons expire 1/29
If you are taking about an Instant Value coupon in one of their books ..most stores turn on the sales price on Saturday...but you won’t get the RR.
Some people have reported that they have Walgreens that will take expired coupons but I have never found one.
But in your case, you need to find some 2.00 Natrol coupon. Some are up now on Ebay.
That will make it the money maker.
If you just want some melatonin without paying for it...buy it on Saturday night.
I’ll give it a try on 1/30. Can’t hurt to try
They get scan down credits for Walgreens coupons from the Manufacturer. There is a cut off date for them to get the credit.
For example, a scan down credit might actually end on a particular item several days after the end of the sale. Perhaps this is to give them time to do rainchecks.
They don’t like to issue rain checks because they have to eat the profit loss after a certain date.
If your store did not have the item on Saturday they might let you get away with it BUT I highly doubt it. Not after it goes 3 get back 3. The register likely won’t take it and it would have to take a managers approval. 99.9% chance that ain’t going to happen.
The things that usually work for double dipping are things on Saturday. Melatonin is an example.
The 3 price will kick in sometime Saturday and you can use the 3.00 off coupon - making it free plus tax. No need to spend the 3.00 to get 3 back...and no worry about how to flip flop the RRs.
I will probably do some like that on Saturday as I only have about 50 coupons so far for the Natrol to make it a money maker.
But what does one do with all the NyQuil?
Stick olives in them and have a very healthy martini party.
