The Messiah gave one of his most inspirational speeches to kick off this 2012 re-election that had everything except a balloon drop and confetti. The cheers and fainting was back as the mock Catholic service was performed with Father Opapa giving the message. It was a great pep rally but a really poor memorial, liberals don't feel compassion.

Sickening but accurate bump
The first thing I did this morning was head to the computer to find somebody who didn’t worship Bama’s speech.
And, bray, you’re the first thing I found. Don’t let me down.
FOX has been disgusting on this whole thing. Watching the exploitation of the death of Americans is disgusting to watch. I'm thinking seriously of cancelling my DTV and saving a bunch of money each month.
That is so creepy, Revelations-and-the-AntiChrist-Beast creepy.
Just opened her eyes? Didn’t rise and walk into his arms?
Very disappointed in Obama.
We did the same.We watched an interview with 101 year old
Luise Rainer ( someone actually interesting) and the movie
The Good Earth on TCM. We would have watched an actual memorial service, but we wouldn’t watch that sham!
Someone should do a parity of the Clash Rock the Casbah er(Caskets)
I worshiped every minute of zero's speech - with one [the middle] finger of each hand raised in his direction.
IMO, this was Wellstone Memorial II.
i am afraid so. charles was predictable.
Mrs WBill is a Dem (albeit a Conservative, Southern Dem). We surfed into "The Speech" last night, and watched for a minute.
I told her that I thought making political hay out of a tragedy was a disgusting display. She (having the remote) lingered on the speech for a few more seconds - saw the crowd cheer something or other BO said - then agreed with me and changed the channel. We watched "Iron Man" instead. Good Flick.
If she disagreed with me, she'd have said "Unless you have a better suggestion, I'd like to watch this." Which is fine, that's why we have another TV. And a computer. And a library full of books. :-)
Sez me, when Obama voters can't even take his BS, the man is in trouble.
Michelle Malkin was refreshing to listen to this a.m. on Fox and Friends.
Why.
Why does his messianic ego drive him so? Why not humbly say he received word that she opened her eyes instead of saying JUST AFTER he met with her she opened her eyes.
Sheesh.
Oh, and by the way, Brian Kilmeade has been asking this morning about the true hero's, the ones who tackled the gunman, took him down? Why were they relegated to the also-ran seats and some gay hispanic congressional aide is being hailed as a hero for applying first aid. . .this is madness, absolute madness.
My son called and told me about one young man, a man that is a white male and a concealed carry person, he jumped on the guy, ran to wrestle the guy down.
My son said some MSNBC thug had the kid on and didn't know this guys story and was caught unaware. I hadn't heard of that report. Anyone have a link?
I am in the UK and it is nothing but “heroic” gay congressional aide and rabid right-wing blaming going on..
that's better
Are the “old assumptions” he wants to challenge “the right of the people to keep and bear arms”?
No one has topped this ——Yet!
Wonder if the “wellstone Funeral” was taped-
Cheering- you betcha, from the hicks of minneooota-
Booing - Hilarious- they Boooed Governor Jesse “the Body”
AND his wife- she got so upset she cried.
( I will never figure out why after that Jesse

Asking for people to Vote for Mondale (who was allowed to run in welstones place!! right form the pulpit- by welstones own son!
Norm Coleman - After seeing all the Booos of republicans,Jesse,

Get the popcorn- watch the Freak show- surprised they did
not ask loghner’s family to attend!! sarc
You're totally full of it. He did NOT "slam" Sarah Palin -- he defended her metaphorical use of the term "blood libel."
I had no intention of watching..happened to walk into a room and saw the ending of Janet’s speech and was appalled. My husband and I ended up watching the rest, like we were watching a train wreck. Then when the panel came on, I really wanted to hurl.
If that is the level of respect we show and people think it was inspiring.....we have sunk further than I thought possible!
