Kathy Griffin, the alleged comedienne who was booed by soldiers for a so-called "joke" about Bristol Palin, announced to The Hollywood Reporter that 16-year-old Willow Palin would be her next target.
Griffin, who managed to get through a New Year's program without lapsing into her usual foul language, said, "In 2011 I want to offend a new Palin". The reason?
"She's called people a fa---t on Facebook a couple of times," says Griffin. "You don't throw around the f-word without hearing from me about it."
Griffin has already attacked other members of the Palin family and feels the teenaged girl - still in high school - deserves to "go down".
"But I think it's Willow's year to go down," she said.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Griffin also resolved to go to church more in 2011.
Fox News reports that some in Hollywood are not laughing at Griffin's announcement.
Angie Meyer, a Hollywood publicist says Griffin’s promise to attack Willow, is worse than her joke against Bristol:
“To attack a young girl solely because of her last name seems rather contradictory of the types of justice she champions for others,” Meyer said. “A 50-year-old woman who chooses to attack a 16-year-old girl publicly at a time when cyber-bullying and teenage suicide are at their highest reported rates, not only sets irreconcilable example for others, it’s tasteless, immoral, and frankly – classless."
In short - typical Griffin "humor" - justified solely because of the Palin name.

...that sounds like a threat that could be taken as physical. You gotta have respect for the Dads ability to keep his cool. This woman needs to be booed off of every stage she curses.

What and who is this woman? What accomplishments has she had to warrant such press? Trying to be a hero in the gay/liberal community by insulting conservatives is her only schtick. What a souless human being.
I just know that when I saw her stupid face on the People’s Choice Awards last night, I turned the channel. I also have an email out to Arby’s right now. Their answer will determine if I ever go there again.
...and in 2012 it will be Piper’s turn, then in 2013 it will be Trig’s term, then in 2014 it will be Trip’s turn, then what will she do after she’s bullied a bunch of kids? Bully the family dog or cat?
Sarah Palin doesn’t hold any current government position. Her power is limited to influencing those in her party and those who share her values.
That said, why are liberal whores like Kathy Griffin so afraid of the Palins?
Simple, because they are a God-fearing, America loving, pro-life, fly-over country, conservative, normal American family.

I wonder what he stance was when the press posted a couple pictures of Chelsea Clinton? Unless I'm gravely mistaken - she thought that was 'wrong'. So, it's wrong to post pictures of Chelsea in her 20's at a tennis match with her date - but insulting a 16 yr old girl, who is the daughter of an outspoken Conservative is 'good'?
Someone's no-talent career is on the rocks - and this is the best idea she has for a come-back?
I love older mature women. They carry life experiences with them that give them an air of confidence, wisdom, and are settled in their thinking. It makes them very sexy.
I like younger women because they are clueless, say very dumb things, and fun to watch.
Ms Griffin cannot be in two places at the same time.

I saw it on an MTV special salute to the troops.

Not growing up in a religious home, I try to keep an open mind regarding the existence of evil.
