On Monday, the Obama administration announced it had hired an environmental economist from the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) to join the National Economic Council. Replacing member Joe Aldy, Nat Keohane, a long-time advocate of cap and trade, will now be advising President Obama on the economics of energy and environmental issues. With Keohane’s addition, it now looks like the Obama administration is preparing to go to battle against congressional Republicans who balk at the prospect of any environmental legislation. But Keohane’s hire also represents something else – the continuation of Obama placing global warming alarmists

Just thinking ~ he got rid of a couple of other major players and then he brings in a guy who's so old news ~ imagine he still believes that if you manipulate the numbers enough it gets warmer.
I suspect he's even less qualified for his job than his predecessor.

Van Jones is undoubtedly a "back door man".
Hey, watching BET yesterday they had on one of those bio movies on an AA singer ~ "LITTLE RICHARD".
It was done rather more tastefully than Little Richard ever described it but the point was the music.

Keohane made lots of claims about the benefits of such legislation, even going so far as to say that if the Senate did not pass cap and trade, neither India nor China would pursue energy policies, and the world would be left to the destruction of global warming. That's correct. If we slit our throats first, they will slit theirs and by doing so will save the planet.
