The McLaughlin Group is still an easy place to identify Newsweek as a liberal rag. Over the weekend, Newsweek's Eleanor Clift offered several liberal howlers as the Group handed out year-end honors and dishonors. On "Worst Lie," Clift insisted: "The worst lie, that Obamas policies didnt work -- the recovery plan, the car, the auto-car bailout, and TARP, which began under President Bush all worked quite well."

Eleanor Clift is the main reason Newsweek is bankrupt. Repeat, Eleanor Clift is the main reason Newsweek is bankrupt...repeat....

"all worked quite well." Which is why the American economy is the envy of the world, with low unemployment, rapid growth of GDP, and a sound dollar which stands as a strong reserve currency for the world.
 Right? [/s]

To: GiovannaNicoletta
Well, his policies did work in getting a record number of DemocRAT congress critters fired in November. We should be grateful for that.

I can recall a couple of things about Eleanor.

1.) Her sycophantic slobbering over the newly elected Bill
Clinton (and wife) elicited a reprimand from the editors at
Newsweak.

(and eventually Newsweak followed Time from a "neutral"
reporting venue, to overt liberalism heading towards Chapter 7
banruptcy.)

 And

2.) She was walking out of something ahead of Limbaugh, and he
stuck, um, gave the "V" sign behind her head.

Other than that, her complete lack of reality in her opinions
rendered both her and "The McLaughlin Group" useless and
unwatchable.

To: GiovannaNicoletta
    Well....she is completely right.
His policies were deliberately designed to punish the USA and spread the leftist dream of domination and cruelty the world over. Yep Obama is a total success in evil.

They worked quite well in their intended goal of crippling the U.S. economy!

They worked just fine if you accept that the goal is the punishment of America for its sins.

    She’s delusional. Nothing new, though.

...all worked quite well... ...if your goal is to destroy the USA.

Please - Eleanore Clift - is there any liberal more toxic and beyond reason? Please keep her name off of here if at all possible. All she does is give you heartburn and potentially shortens you life through grief. Nothing redemptive or reasonable about most anything she says.

Yeah. It's all so great here, Eleanor, you wouldn't believe. Some of my friends still even have unemployment benefits. I was never eligible even though I pay in, so I wasn't hoping to collect, but work is slim so it might have helped. We're freezing our asses off here in the northeast. I guess it's all going according to his plan, and yours, Huh?

and TARP, which began under President BushIf TARP were really a success (and not a TRAP), they wouldn't be crediting Bush.
