In whats already been dubbed as War Room For Gay Equality by the New York Times, Media Matters for America has a new project, Equality Matters, to cash in on the recent repeal of Dont Ask Dont Tell. The site, which is essentially a greatest hits of gay news and bias most of which is posted on the main site by the crack team at MMFA, doesnt really do anything as far as I can tell.
But dont take my word for it; here is the description from the site:
EqualityMatters.org is a new media and communications initiative in support of gay equality. Through strategic communications, research, training and media monitoring we strengthen efforts for full LGBT rights and correct anti-gay misinformation. Our goal is to enhance advocacy and activism across all platforms and to leverage our expertise in support of others who are working to make full equality a national imperative.
I dont know about you, but when I read that I think Hey, gay guys who work on Capitol Hill and make way too much money, why dont you donate here?! Youd think with all the money that Soros has thrown their way over the last few months they wouldnt have to grovel to the gay community this way, but yet here we are.
This is pandering at its best people. Under the column entitled Latest they have ten posts, with only four of the ten having been posted in the month of December and some going back as far as AUGUST.

It’s a shame that this one is beyond them: “Truth Matters.”
If equality mattered then everyone would be paying the same tax rate.
In the vast majority of circumstances, homosexuals have equality, if they just STFU. But there’s the dilemma.
What they want, more than anything else, is *not* equality, but special recognition, even appreciation, for being different. They want people to doff their hats as they walk by.
They want children in schools to be told that leading the often miserable, diseased life of a homosexual is “just as good” as being normal.
But yet another dilemma. It is not the non-homosexuals, for the most part, who make the lives of homosexuals miserable and diseased.
You cannot legislate happiness. Or normality. Or monogamy in those that abhor monogamy. Or good health in those that engage in unhealthy activities. It can’t be done.
No matter how much homosexuals want it to be done.
