John Boehner says Barack Obama disrespected him during tax-cut extension battle. On an appearance on 60 Minutes on Sunday evening, incoming Speaker of the House John Boehner scolded Barack Obama for what he says was the disrespect that the president showed him during the battle over extending all of the Bush-era tax cuts. Specifically, Boenher really disliked the time last week when Obama held a press conference to broadly accuse the GOP of taking the American people hostage over their principled stand to ensure that the Bush tax cuts for all income earners get extended. Initially, when asked to comment about Obamas dishonorable choice of words at last Tuesdays press conference, Boehner instead claimed not to have heard what Obama alleged.

Poor baby. Obama was mean to him.
John...don’t worry about him “disrespecting” you. He hates you. Accept that. Grow a spine. Fight him and his anti-American ideas. Give no quarter. Remember, nobama disrespects us all by not resigning immediately. Toughen up!
The only people BO considers “enemies” are Americans who are not supporting his marxist agenda. He’s all sweetness with Iran and North Korea but treats us like crap.
Boehner should step away from being the next Speaker. This crying thing already is getting old.
Given the way ‘I WON’ spoke to Senator McCain during the televised health care debate I can just imagine what he was like in private.
O ridiculed Congressman Ryan for bringing the actual health care bill to the meeting, calling it a ‘prop’.
Even the shellacking did nothing to bring this evildoer back to earth.
Sore winner and even worse sore loser.
Boehner was my congressman for many years and IMHO was not a good fit to be Speaker. We shall see if I am correct
Boehner should be a back bencher, not Speaker.
He’s just not up to the job.
The House GOP Steering Committee, chaired by Speaker-designate John Boehner, chose liberal Republican Fred Upton to become the Chairman of the House Energy & Commerce Committee because they believed that he was more capable of providing oversight to the EPA.
Fred 'Ban the incandescent light bulb' Upton ?!?
It always amazes me when the left wing idiots sit there on national TV and make fun of Boehner’s skin color which actually seems quite normal to me. Obama did it too. It isn’t funny. It isn’t accurate. It isn’t appropriate. If any of the right wing pundits made jokes about Charlie Rangel’s skin color or Obama’s skin color, there would be a national outcry but, as usual, it’s OK when the Dems do it. What is funny is that this is the worst attack they can mount against this guy which speaks volumes about his true character IMO.
We’re stuck with him for a while. I think we should at least give him a chance and support.
Not saying I would vote for him though.
Boehner has not had an original idea in his life, he takes his cues from Newt. John is a lousy orator and stammers more than Zero without his tele-brain.
Pence would have been my choice, but I didn’t get a vote.
Boehner is a mental lightweight who plays more golf than Zero, but better.
If you want to know what John thinks.....ask Newt, he’s the man behind the curtain.
As 2012 approaches, the Republicans need to showcase this. Americans know that they've never gotten a job from a business making $40K/year. They want to join the ranks of people making $250K/year, not ostracize them.
0bama is also incredibly thin-skinned. Republicans need to force him to compromise every chance they can. The libtard heads explode and 0bama becomes churlish, lashing out in a most un-Presidential fashion. American will end the "Amateur Hour" in 2012.
I believe, IIRC, that was Congressman Eric Cantor who brougnt in the whole health care bill.
As to Boehner...well he and Obama seem to have something in common - they are both whiners. Do we have any politicians, in leadership positions, who have manly lower body parts in Washington? It is disgusting. They either lie, or cry...or both.
Boehner reminds me of the “patient” in the Drill Instructor Geico commercial. Have we chugged on over to Mamby Pamby land yet?
Man Up John Boehner! You aint seen nothing yet.
Barry hasn’t yet extended you the middle finger of friendship he gave to Sarah Palin, John McCain and Hillary Clinton
