On December 3, Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary for Legislative Affairs, Nelson Peacock, responding to request from several U.S. Senators, including Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX), wrote: Our conservative estimate suggests that ICE would require a budget of more than $135 billion to apprehend, detain and remove the nations entire illegal immigrant population.
In July 2010, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) released the results of a study which examined the costs of illegal immigration at the federal, state and local levels. The study found that U.S. state and local governments shell out $84.2 billion annually in various services (law enforcement, schools, social services, etc.), with California taxpayers alone, spending $21 billion on illegal aliens every year.
The same study found that $29 billion is spent every year in federal funds on illegal aliens.
So, while it would cost a one-time fee of about $135 billion to deport every single illegal alien in the country, it is actually a bargain considering the fact that it already costs us $113 billion annually to keep them here.
In other words, the mass deportation would pay for itself in a little over a year.
Incidentally, in 2007, the DHS estimated the cost of deporting all illegal aliens to be approximately $94 billion.
.
Then DEPORT them.
They will self deport if they can’t get jobs. It’s up to us to make sure that Americans get those jobs.
Enforce NO HIRING of ILLEGALS and they’ll deport themselves.
AND THEY WILL COME!!!!
Without question! Just do it.
“They will self deport if they cant get jobs. Its up to us to make sure that Americans get those jobs.”
If unemployment checks were not perpetual more Americans would be asking for those jobs.
One can ACT, can’t they? How about Dream...Act.
Bud Light and tamales for the first 3 million.
Instead what do we do? We CATER to them. Spanish signage, free services, banning the American flag...and on and on. Time to put a stop to all this BS and start rounding their sorry asses up. If they are here illegally, they need to GTFO.
We have to deport them and roll back anchor baby citizenship to like 1990. They are out birthing citizens and they vote socialist, which means there is already a socialist ticking time bomb with these folks. As California goes......
How much did this study cost the taxpayers? Of course we knew it already but at least now it’s in black and white. Kick ‘em out. Kick out their cousins and their neighbors and their employers for hiring them, and their dogs, and all their anchor babies, too. Ok, their dogs can stay.
The Republicans are crazy for not making more of an effort to link illegal immigrant with high unemployment. Voters would support deportation a lot more if they thought about it and realized that it would help them get off unemployment.
So the problem is identified and already valued. Now it’s time to get to work.
the 14-year-old assasin is one of these anchor babies. How many more American born, Mexican raised criminals are out there? There seems to be quite a few of them in the news these days.
....who do I make the check out to?
For the second million, the case payment drops to $100, the box lunch is downsized and the chairs on the buses won't recline, but it is still air conditioned.
For the third million, no cash payment, no air conditioning, one checked suitcase per passenger and just bench seats on the bus. But the Bud Light will be cold and the tamales hot.
For the fourth million, same thing but the tamales and Bud Light both get served at room temperature.
Announce the plans in advance, so there is a rush to be the first million. By the time the last million is hauled out, they will get semi-trailers with straw, cold beans and tortillas and 5 gallon plastic pails to crap in.
What if there was SB 1070 nation wide, with that in place, they would self deport as they are currently doing. Then it would not cost near that much.
If they aren’t allowed to work and can’t get welfare they will leave.
