With the situation in North Korea having gotten pretty dicey in recent months, Gov. Bill Richardson a favorite of the North Korean government may be heading back there next week.
Thats according to the Washington Post:
Adm. Mike Mullen, the Joint Chiefs of Staff chairman, is off this week to South Korea to tell officials that the United States is standing with them. And theres talk that outgoing New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson may be off to North Korea next week for a private chat with top officials at the invitation of key people in the nuclear crowd over there.
Richardson, a former ambassador and a global troubleshooter, has negotiated with the North Koreans several times in the past. In fact, during the Bush presidency, the North Koreans came to Santa Fe to talk to Richardson rather than going to Washington.

I wonder what they will do from Christmas to New Year's day. If another provocation is to occur, that is the most likely time period.
It is really stupid of Obama admin to send Richardson to N. Korea. It will only encourage them.

I lived in NM for 14 years. Know it and phoney Bill well.
Bill, the little weasel, has Los Alamos Labs, Sandia Labs, White Sands Missle Range, Kirkland AFB and other smaller “labs” in NM.
He has been looking with envy over the border here in TX at the best little nuke factory in the world. He made several trips over here to find some “stupid” reason to move it into mañana country.
Don’t trust Bill with anything.

Any indication which side of the NLL the NORK shells fell?

Never mind - answered my own question
Now appears several #DPRK shells fired into Yellow Sea this morning, but north of disputed NLL. #Koreas about 2 hours ago via TweetDeck

Perhaps Richardson will defect to the NorKs when he is there? Just a thought.

It can only be taken by the West and the entire world--at this critical time, once again, as in the past so many times before--as a sign of weakness to visit the Aggressor this way.
It will be (outside of the Japan Communist Party and Social Democrat Party) completely assailed here in Japan. Bill Richardson goes at the behest of Obama, there is no delinking. He either goes and represents Obama and American Weakness, or he does not go at all.
Everything must be done to stop this trip by Richardson, including ridicule, humor, and a well-placed John Bolton op-ed.
This guy rates up there with Madeline Albright and Condi Rice with all this disgusting appeasement of the Beast business. These guys rush fast enough to get their tickets to Beijing and Pyongyang to capitulate. Disgusting and unwanted.

If you can indict Richardson for treason with mandatory death sentence, then maybe he will take political asylum in N. Korea, and serve as an ‘immersion instructor’ for N. Korean spies prepared for infiltrating into U.S., probably to New Mexico. Teach them local accents, best local taco joints, and where local drug gangs hang out.:-)

The truth one day, post-Kim DPRK, will come out about all these Western foolish "useful idiots" and their various missions and CODELS up to the North. It may turn out to be downright seditious and certainly embarrassing when all the facts come out. Bill Richardson is definitely one who will be swept up in all of it.

Especially whether they were serviced by Pleasure Group gals. One begins to wonder if Maddie Halfbright or other aging gals were also serviced by toy boys. If so, I hope NK regime paid those boys well, because that would be real hardship duty.:-)

And AS IF *ANY* appeasing trip to Pyongyang to-date by Clinton, Carter, Jackson, Pritchard, Albright, ChrisJongHill, Rev. Billy Graham, Richardson, and and whole frikkin New York Philharmonic Orchestra over the last 40 years has EVER had any net effect of stopping this kind of worldwide terrorist nonsense by the Kim Dynasty's communist North Korea?

This almost goes into what I was saying. Bill Richardson was a Pay to Play Polician with no credibility. He has desperately slithered into the Obama administration. I wrote my last comment, because I want to show how little the NORKs really care about the Obamas knee-pad diplomacy and what they really ultimately plan to do.
To: AmericanInTokyo
Thank you American in Tokyo for the ping.
