This is JUST the beginning of the Civil Disobedience movement in support of Lakin, IMHO.

If he is created a martyr to the cause of truth, then the movement will be even more powerful.I believe Lakin is prepared to go the distance on this, much the same way MLK JR. would have done.

Just a gut feeling...I have more faith in Trent Franks than Kyl or McCain. McCain is a BIG part of this problem and I’ll never forgive him for that.

already posted, just not in detail. The BIG difference is that I attributed the original source (P&E) that ORYR consistently fails to do. ORYR has lifted copyrighted material from my website and redistributed it. Distribution that could have caused me to get in trouble with the law thus I do not support their website.

I hadn’t thought of that analogy, but I have always assumed that Col. Lakin would rather sit in jail than obey an order he believes is not valid. There are similarities with Dr. King’s civil disobedience, but of course in each case the person has to deal with the consequences of the injustice they allege in order to have any effect.

What will happen? Time will tell.

People just need to be aware. Especially when the website doesn't cite the source or give a link to it. On that note, I suppose I should have linked to P&E, but I know there has been some controversy here between them and the owners of freepers, so I posted with caution.

OTOH, Today I have been reading through Madison's letters prior to and after the revolution as well as his presidency. Madison in 1782 was the 1st to call for a rule of uniform naturalization and talks of the Virginia citizenship laws. In Federalist 42, Madison distinguishes that there is a distinct difference between “inhabitants” & “citizens” and the right of movement. His letters pertaining to naturalization state that the inhabitants are not duty bound to the political establishment but are required to adhere to all laws under the jurisdiction regarding commerce & civil obedience.
