That’s a perfectly reasonable ticket.
As I just said on the other thread, it would be great to have several conservatives competing for the top job on the planet.
I thinking John Bolton for 2012.
A DeMint/ Pence ticket would be a miracle. I pray that it comes true.
Everyone on the Republican Conservative side, if they choose, should be able to run for President. I think the more we have in the mix the better. We can weed the good ones out. But we must NOT let the MEDIA choose for us ever again.
Yeah...Palin is damaged goods if you pander to the MSM reporting and twisting of her image.
if you want your guys in you better get them a show, having them haul in catches of salmon and hunting caribou and moose...quote Ted Nugent and wear her NRA sweatshirt on camera...
Palin is going to be the most eagerly voted for candidate since Teddy Roosevelt...there is no substitute for her popularity.
I know who demint is but I do not know much about pence and most voters dont know who either are....
DeMint/Pence would be a great ticket. However while all the probable/possible candidates are hedging about running DeMint is hedging more than most.
A fine ticket, but dream on, DeMint isn’t going to run. And if you think that if he did run the press would be nice to him...LOL! You talk about damaged goods, DeMint would be bbq’d as bad or worse as Sarah, as ANY conservative would, and we don’t know how he would handle it yet. We do know how Sarah has handled it....she has parlayed the slamming to great wealth and popularity and is now likely one of the most powerful women in this country if not the world.
Sarah knows how to handle the press, and she knows how to slam the commies and is ACTUALLY doing it rather than sitting around with a thumb in both ends like the other so called conservatives are doing now.
That's my 1st-tier choice ticket. While DeMint is the more well-known quantity, Pence is getting some notice as well. Hannity had both on his radio show last week, and these guys are definitely a cut above. Neither are going to burn up the airwaves with charisma, not that it's a bad thing. After four years of 0bama's blingy empty-suitedness, I think people will be ready for some red-meat substance in the WH.
DeMint and Pence have a total command of policy issues and are deeply and fearlessly conservative. IMO, they'd made an outstanding team to lead this country.
Consider the source- Intellectual Conservative.
I doubt this outcome, but how exactly is Palin damaged?
You can judge her IMO by her enemies. Pretty good ones IMO.
Pence is fine, but he'll likely end up with the same problem as your object of worship, Duncan something or other......
That’s a ticket I could vote for enthusiastically - both are solid conservatives, as well as knowledgeable, experienced, competent, articulate, unafraid and lacking in “lightning rod” qualities that would turn off independents.
Any asshat who has to ‘hold his nose’ for a candidate because he/she has ‘insufficient gravitas’ is proof that they didn’t give a test before allowing him to register the domain ‘intellectualconservative.com’.
You hold your nose on policy, not because of what other people think of the damn candidate.
Will she still be damaged goods when she kicks Obama out of the WH?
Palin/DeMint 2012
Palin/Bolton 2012
Palin/Bachmann 2012
Palin/Liz Cheney 2012
Palin/pissant 2012... with conditions. She would need to keep you at an undisclosed location with no computer access. See-— I’m even willing to vote for you. ;>)
DeMint is a great guy, but his inability to speak in public without the rural Carolina idioms will keep him from ever running for president.
Pence is just another unqualified DC establishment guy.
It can be abbreviated:
Depends 2012!
Really. Do 'damaged goods' usually sell millions of copies of two books, bring over three million eyes to her outdoor TV program every week, and have every news outlet reporting her every opinion that she posts on Twitter or Facebook? If so, can you make me "damaged goods" too?
Of course. A couple of low name recognition members of the House (who have zero executive experience)
I don't understand how it is that so many on here can't recognize the difference in legislating and governing.
Perhaps that's why congressmen can seem to be so pure on the issues, they are just one vote of many.
Executives have to make and live with their decisions daily.
No more legislators please...let's elect a leader.
These guys are staunch conservatives...so what. So am I and I would not make a good president (although I might have more executive decision making experience than these two...)
