Palin Success Triggered FCC Complaints (Bristol)
The Smoking Gub ^ | Dec. 6, 2010 | staff

DECEMBER 6--In the days after Bristol Palin was voted into the finals of “Dancing with the Stars,” viewers from across the country wrote to the Federal Communications Commission accusing the ABC show of everything from running a “payola type program” to “encouraging and promoting teen pregnancy.”

Many of the complainants, whose letters were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request, were upset that, as one Oregonian put it, “the top scores were voted off yet Sarah Palin’s daughter remained on.”

One viewer from Pittsburgh alleged that the show’s voting system had been “fixed by extreme supporters of the Tea Party and Radical Right-Wing. I find that it has become a political platform for Sarah Palin to improve her image and ooze her political slime.” The aggrieved correspondent continued, “Bristol is not a star, what did she do, she had sex and got pregnant. Lets reward her…I made several call to ABC’s complaint line and I hope that their phone lines melt. It has become a political movement, with Tea Party websites instructing on how to vote for Bristol. Ridiculousness!”

It is a show, a dance show.
This was NOT a real election and even illegals could have voted.

Yes, they dared call in to vote. Kind of the same reason that the majority of male singers that win “Idol” are queers. The queers call in to vote for “their man.”

This is ridiculous. These folks are crazy. Sarah for one thing said NOTHING at all about politics. Not one mention of tea party, candidates, issues, etc. while on the show. The only thing she did was be a mother and support her daughter. There was not a single word from her mouth about politics at all.

Look at it a different way. Maybe plants from the left voted for her so this hatred would continue to fester.

If Bristol was voted off the show first night, ratings would go down and no one would be talking about Palin.

Once again, liberals need conservatives to make money for them.

ABC DOES run a payola type program. They don’t disclose to the audience of Good Morning America that ABC’s parent company Disney OWNS the network and is why ABC hypes Disney movies on “news” programs.

There are other examples of undisclosed financial interest that the viewing audience does not know about.

And what about the 400 RAT Journolistas who colluded on a website to shield negative news items from the public and the RAT journalists who all supported the Democrat contenders throughout the debates they moderated? The final debate being moderated by a PBS crook who authored a book about Obama’s candidacy with a street date of the presidential innauguration. Nope, no profit motive in seeing that he actually won...

But a Bristol Palin payola scheme? Bwaaahahahaaha.

There, fixed it.

Wow, are these people ever afraid of Sarah Palin. I pray to God she becomes President just for that alone.

One would think the leftards would be by now expressing their PDS-based outrage by protesting to the FCC about how Sarah murdered a defenseless caribou.

Kind of the same reason that the majority of male singers that win “Idol” are queers.

Which of American Idol's male winners are gay? Rueben Studdard? Taylor Hicks? David Cook? Kris Allen? Lee Dewize?

Now, a couple of their runner-ups are notoriously "flamboyant" (Clay Aiken, Adam Lambert), but as far as I know, none of the male winners are gay, at least not openly so.
