Took my 9 y.o. daughter and she loved it. I liked it, too.

My 30something wife wants to go see this- I am hoping there is a good zombie movie that starts at the same time for me.

According to Disney/Pixar, this will be the last princess movie for quite a while.

Film’s website (trailer and lots of video clips):

It has been a long time since Disney has had a successful movie geared specifically for girls

Wasn't The Princess and The Frog a Disney movie?

The ads make it look like Shrek meets birth-control ads.

This movie is classic Disney...like the review said.

My 12 year old daughter and I went to see it last night and were pleasantly suprised by the story and production values.

I would give it a 9 out of 10.....for the genre, and I would watch it again.

At first I thought this would be some variant of a Aarne-Thompson type 310, The Maiden in The Tower.

Went to see it with the grandkids. Daughter bought the popcorn, how could I say no?

My goodness. Excellent production, music was wonderful. The story full of surprises, and unlike the first edition of Grimm’s Fairy Tales, Rapunzel didn’t get knocked up (a relief, to say the least)

Overall, worth the money to see, OK for younger (5 is about as young as I would get) kids and the singing performeance by Mandy Moore (Rapunzel) was remarkable.
