Your thoughts on a VIABLE candidates are welcomed.....
Given Perry and Palin's relative closeness, I think he'll want her on his ticket; because of the audiences, money, and showing she brings, she'll be the vp to pick.
Now personally speaking, I think Perry isn't my top picks in conservative candidates. But I'd vote for Perry/Palin, especially given the 'President' we have now. He'd win and she'd have a good chance with Rubio in 2020. I know some people here may disagree, but I think Sarah needs the VP spot to prove herself to the independents, as she seems to be far too polarizing at the moment ie liberals are going crazy over her for nothing. I figure if she's in a key position, she can make the case for her eventual presidential position.
Plus we need to think of presidential elections for the next 20 years out, not just the immediate consequences. Setting up a situation where we have stars like Rubio and Palin...vs duds like Dole, McCain, etc. The age factor for those two and the potential they have is far more significant of a factor in the long-run.
I think Perry/Palin will happen, and not with out some reservation by me, but I will likely support it...and hope the future brings out a more conservative flow as time precedes.
ps...I consider myself an indie right voter ie I won't vote for the right unless I think the move is in the right direction. I'm part of the reason why 2010 showed Obama he's ass. I supported Fred Thompson in the last presidential primary. Unfortunately Fred's age (and the media's love for McCain) proved to be a big factor in that primary. I've learned my lesson...I think.
Palin is done with 2nd place. Why should she and her family take all that crap from the commie lib “media” for the number 2 spot? It wouldn’t make sense. I believe she has decided that if she is going to take hits 24/7, 365 from a bunch of braindead, banana-eating commies, she is going to go for the big kahuna spot.

Palin = solid conservative Governor from northwest
Pence = solid conservative Representative from midwest
Perry/Palin is interesting... About as much chance as Jeb Bush and Sarah Palin, IMO, though.
I’d go for a Palin/Jindal ticket...get the focus back on growing the economy and maintaining a strong military.
Palin/West would be a psephologist’s dream ticket.
Perry has too much water under the bridge of being a RINO sympathizer for this Tea Partier to be considered a front row candidate. As for Palin, I don’t think she will run because she is far more powerful for the advancement of our cause where she is, and she knows it as well. Just ask Michael Steele!
Now as the new RNC chairman? It is well known that she does her research and she uses that research to her advantage so I’m sure she is studying up on the term Haley Barbour spent in that capacity.
I still think that in a Palin v Obama, Sarah could win. I’d be more concerned if she went up against Hillary.

But I also don't know who else to support for a 2012 campaign. Yes, I like Huckabee. Yes I like Pence and Perry. Newt's a CFR Globalist and Romney is just a RINO. Love Ron Paul but he's too much on the edge of being a loon. I also don't think Sarah is going to let herself join as second banana again. For her, it's going to be the whole enchilada or nothing. Wait, what's the name of the Virginia Governor? THAT guy might make a heckuva POTUS, methinks. Just never, ever Chris Christie!!!
I like Rick Perry for Texas but as a national candidate I think the press would pick him apart for a lot of the things he has said in Texas which goes over well in Texas but would not go over very well nationally. Palin doesn’t match up well with anyone, she has a strong base but I don’t think she could win over independents. I would support that ticket but I am willing to set back and see who else might throw their hat in.
Because of the natural disasters in the Gulf, his national voice (as well as Jindal's) has been eclipsed by local needs and concerns. Jindal screwed himself over with that AWFUL response to the State of the Union. Let's hope he can recover. Pence is articulate too.
But if Palin gets nominated to head the ticket, we are REALLY "done for." Yet, how many FReepers view her as a credible draw to independent voters?
If Romney is the nominee, I will sit out the election. I will NOT pull the lever for him.
No one goes into politics unless they have a massive ego. Palin ran as VP and lost because of McCain’s lackluster performance and the tingly-leg effect on idiots. Perry was unknown in 2008 to almost everyone while she has become a household name and kingmaker. She would not place herself below him a ticket to “prove herself to independents”. If she runs, she will feel that she has earned a place at the top. To be honest, if she allowed herself to be placed in the backseat again, I’d tend to think that she lacks the drive to actually lead the country. We need someone with the confidence of Reagan to lead us out of the Obama mess. Someone that says, “I’m almost ready” is not going to cut it.
Palin needs take a back seat to no one. After all, on the issue of the Fed QE, the G20 agreed with her, not with Obama and his gang of Ivy League mamas' boys.
She’s as credible as Reagan was. I seem to remember he got elected just fine.

I forgot about Jindal being a possibility, I really like Jindal, he is a smooth talker and knows his facts, he is a great conservative and very appealing.
