I’ve had email from a missile expert from White Sands, saying it is a missile. The swirl effect of the contrail is the corkscrewing of the missile, which is later corrected in flight.
Mine too, including a former submarine commander.
The corkscrew effect is generated by wingtip vortices. You can see it clearly when aircraft are a high angles of attack in saturated air.
Through the windscreen I could see an almost full moon and to the right of it was a round object - about one third the size of the moon. It was light colored with a black center and had red lights flashing alternately from the top; sides and bottom.
Too round for an airplane and too high for a warning light on a high-rise. It appeared to be moving, but I turned off Westminster and therefore lost sight of it.
Well, clearly Mr. Leyvas has been "gotten to". Probably forced to toe the administration's line, or face deportation, or unending TSA body searches.
It was a missile. I know it was a missile because it looks exactly like a missile. On a related note, I saw airborne, 3K foot tall Easter Bunny this morning. Now, some people are saying it's just a cloud, but I know it's not because I know what I saw.

The video is the ONLY evidence we have, and it is a highly edited, and manipulated version of what was filmed.
The helicopter was making extreme changes in altitude, during the filming, to get footage that made it appear the craft being filmed was rising at a very high rate.
Since the cameraman himself admits he has seen the same thing at least three times, It is hard to believe it’s a missile or ICBM(as many suggest).
IT seems interesting that CBS has not followed up on this, nor released any of the ‘alleged’ RAW footage.
One thing is for sure. People will believe what they want to believe, even when confronted with contrary facts.

I think there are some experts looking to actively discredit conservatives. Sorry to see Rush fall for it.
My guess it was China or North Korea. It was rumored last April that Korea blew up the Gulf drill rig. Never proven and the Rats are blaming the construction company and BP. I would not put it beyond Obummer to do that. Like Clinton did with the TWA flight 800. Jack Cashill has been writing since that time that it was a missle that took Flight 800 down.
If this was a missile, why was there no response?
He's right that harassing ordinary American travellers shows how irresolute we are, but trying to pin it on Obama makes his point look merely partisan.
Actually, everyone has to remember that Rush is only right 99.6% of the time.
