IIRC, I was the one who did the computer reconstruction of the Cheonan from its raised parts -- and identified the torpedo blast point almost exactly.

And I say this was UPS 902.

"If an online blogger says it was an airplane and a retired NORAD general says it was a missile who are you going to believe?"

I'm ex-USAF. Generals don't walk on water...

If the general has only spent a minute looking at 14 seconds of time-scrambled and looped SeeBS video -- and the blogger has spent many hours studying that PLUS ALL the available evidence -- including still photos and radar tracks -- I'd give the blogger serious consideration.

What about the long-time FReepers with solid conservative posting records who have posted factual analyses — backed up with graphics?

And now we have a good calibration on their “expertise” in this area: worthless.

Although I’m a fan of Rush’s, it’s not his opinion that I value here. Numerous retired military as well as mil-centric information places such as Janes viewed it as a missile.

As I said earlier in this thread, I hope ou and others are right thy it was a jet contrail. Because if it wasn’t an our military wasn’t testing something new, the ChiComs or Russians are sending us a message. Hope for best, prepare for the worse.

There is conflicting evidence for both positions so reasonable people have come down on both sides. I wonder why “fake but accurate” CBS won’t release their full digital raw video so we could settle this?

"There is conflicting evidence for both positions so reasonable people have come down on both sides."

~~~~~~~~~~
I was the FReeper who "outed" SeeBS on their lie about the video. I call this story
"Contrailgate -- Real but Bogus" '-)
It is now clear that SeeBS took a mundane event, and, through hype ("It Lit Up The Sky!") and deceptive editing and representation of the video, (see above) manufactured "news" where there was nothing but an interesting sunset scene. The event was real. SeeBS' reporting was bogus.
Far too many good people were "suckered" by SeeBS.
Unfortunately for SeeBS, they allowed video near the end of the event that shows the "object" separating from the "plume"-- and lining up perfectly with the RADAR track and photos of UPS902 -- to "escape" and be broadcast by NECN.
~~~~~~~~

If you don't mind, I would appreciate knowing what about the "contrail" evidence you find to be "conflicting". Since I have avoided the politics and have tried to deal strictly and honestly with ALL physical evidence, I would sincerely appreciate your help in pointing out the "conflict(s)".

If I'm wrong, I'll change my position and publicly admit my error on FR.

Thanks!

TXnMA
