Perhaps Mr. Koppel wrote this piece as the closing homework assignment at a refresher course from the Dan Rather School of Objective and Truthful Journalism. If so, I’ll bet he got a good final grade.

Is Koppel on George Soros’s payroll too? Or just another Leftist who misses the “good old days” when Democrats controlled all the networks?
To: Suvroc10
Ted Koppel? Did they have to roll him away from a Canasta game? Isn't he the president of the Del Boca Vista (phase II) homeowners’ association?

Fox has many partisan Democrats on it`s network, quite a few Democrat Anchors, I am forever yelling at the left bias on Fox, so this is not reality at all what Teddy is saying.
Sometimes they show left bias on Fox and sometimes it`s just incompetence. Just yesterday on the Fox News watch they slammed Sarah Palin, allowed untrue statements to go un challenged.
One Democrat said every time she speaks her favorabilities go down, nobody corrected the record that Ras and AP both had polls in recent days showing her favorability on the rise with 46 and 49, supposedly the highest in over a year.
Martha McCallum(sp), Shep Smith are both partisan Democrats and full time daily Anchors, more than any of the other big 3 networks, cable news outfits combined regarding Republicans/Conservatives.
MSNBC almost never has a genuine Republican on as a guest! They have ZERO Republican Anchors!
What Teddy says is Alice in Wonderland

A few points:
1. Koppel is an old, feeble minded fool.
2. ABC News was very biased when he was there on Nightline.
3. Ted Koppel's world is ending and he doesn't like it.
4. There is a bit of truth about Fox News being conservative. But that's their opinion shows. Even they would agree that there opinion show are biased. They (Fox) have done this to put some balance on commentary. I've read this from Roger Ailes himself.
5. Fox News shows are in fact Fair and Balanced.
6. The problem I have with MSM is that they claim to be unbiased but are anything but.
7. MSNBC is trash, Plain and Simple. They are on the same level as Jerry Springer or Oprah.

I remember when Ted got himself embedded in Iraq in ‘03 that being close to the troops in combat might change his outlook. Instead, when I saw his reports he had the look and demeanor of somebody who realized he made the biggest mistake of his life and wanted to anywhere than there.

Ted Koppel slams Fox News for being as partisan and biased as MSNBC
Ted, Ted, poor boob. Don't you know that it's not being partisan and biased that is bad? It's what you're being partisan and biased about that makes the difference. If you are biased toward thinking the best of everyone and trying to find a way to solve problems instead of just bitching about them, that is good. If you are biased against the United States as a transformative force in world history that has helped raise millions out of poverty, sickness, and servitude, that is bad. If you're a partisan who is trying to promote individual liberty, less government, states' rights, ie, the Constitution, you are a good partisan. If you're a partisan who is trying to promote a heavy centralized government that tells people where to live, how to live, how much and how many resources they may or may not use, which insurance companies they must purchase how much insurance and at what prices, threaten to jail them if they come up with their own arrangements that are satisfactory to them and those whom they've chosen to supply them, then you are a BAD partisan who needs his ass thoroughly kicked to the edge of society and beyond.

Maybe someone should launch a conservative network that actually is as biased as MSNBC.
