MSNBC Host Calls for Revolution: ‘Real Change…Perhaps Through Violence’

“Are things in our country so bad that it might actually be time for revolution?” Dylan Radigan asked yesterday on his MSNBC show. His unequivocal reply: “The answer is obviously ‘yes.’ The only question is, ‘how to do it?’”

So what kinds of abuses are we obviously going to rise up against? “Wrongful wars,“ ”corrupt economy,“ ”special interest industries,” “the political system itself,“ and ”gerrymandering.”

“To clear our dire problems may require even more drastic solutions,” he said. While introducing his cartoonist guest, Ratigan says those solutions might include “violence or at least the threat thereof”:

You hit a nerve there, my FRiend.

I have had the same feeling for years - that I would be involved in a revolution.

I think this vision started in the late 1960s when I understood that the Left intended to do a Russian style revolution at some point.

It would appear from recent events that my “feeling” and “vision” are becoming fact.

Think about it, we will be fighting people who are frightened of kindergartners drawing of guns. My guess is that they will try to rile up the inner city thugs, but even they are smart enough to not go there.

The lenin analogy is a good one.
lenin stirred up the russians to revolt while in hiding in Europe. When the revolution started, he was nowhere near the fighting. He came to Moscow only after the dust had settled.

Hey mslsd and ted rall, put up or shut up.
But if they are able to rile up the masses, they are mostly in the inner cities. Hmmm, surrounded and outnumbered is not a good way to start a revolution.

I had some fun re-writing the Declaration of Independence as a Declaration of Restoration (restoring the Constitution)


Liberty, Freedom, Honor. Those words should have renewed meaning for all of us today.

We can’t be consumed by our petty differences anymore.
We must be united in our common interests. We will once again be fighting to restore freedom; again breaking the encircling chains of tyranny, oppression, corruption and persecution.

We need a

Declaration of Restoration

Dismayed and endangered by the course of current and impending events, it becomes necessary for honorable people to restore the political, social and moral bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the original separate and equal station to which the laws of nature and of nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the restoration.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That because our current manifestation of Federal government has become destructive to these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to restore a Constitutional government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate and our history of late has illustrated, that governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.

But because the recent train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute despotism, socialism and tyranny, devoted to the destruction of our republican government, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such government, and to restore original guards for their future security, and the security of their rightful heirs.

—Such has been the patient and law-abiding sufferance of the States and their lawful Citizens; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to restore their Constitutionally-defined republican systems of government. The history of the present Federal Government is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states. To prove this, let facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his assent to laws of this Nation, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good, preferring to unlawfully act via fiat, executive order and decree.

He has forbidden our Congress to pass worthy laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.

He has obstructed the rightful and lawful administration of justice, by directly opposing the legislation and voters of various States, and by ignoring the Execution of existing laws.

He has made judges dependent on his will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and sought through their activism to circumvent the Legislative Powers of the Federal and State governments.

He has erected a multitude of new offices, and sent hither swarms of officers to harass our people, and redistribute their individual wealth and assets.

He has endeavoured to keep among us, in times of peace, standing Security Forces without the consent of our legislature, and against the Will of the Governed.

He has affected to render the military ineffective and largely impotent in light of its sworn duty to provide for a Common Defense.

He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his assent to their acts of pretended legislation:

A ‘stimulus’ that only stimulated the National Debt Clock.
10% unemployment, officially, 17% in my neighborhood..
$3 trillion in new debt in just two years.
Shovel-ready jobs that were a sham and a lie when announced.
His apparent inability to say ANYTHING cogent without the left-right-left-right reading of the text that SOMEONE ELSE wrote – the teleprompter president
The vast increase in the size of government and its share of GDP.
Eight years of projected $1 trillion annual budget deficits.
New capital gains taxes.
New inheritance taxes.
The use of extra-cabinet czars to avoid confirmation and audit.
ACORN’s excesses excused, overlooked, encouraged
The months-long shutdown of gulf drilling.
The failure to encourage coal, nuclear, and oil and gas new production.
The Black Panther/DOJ voting intimidation mess.
Obama’s bowing abroad and his apologies tour.
The outreach to enemies, and the snubbing of allies.
The unnecessary humiliation of Great Britain and Israel.
The unnecessary announcement of Afghan troop withdrawal deadlines.
‘Overseas contingency operations’ and ‘man-made disasters.’
The proposed civilian trial of KSM.
The Ground Zero mosque mess.
The beer summit mess.
NASA’s new main mission of Muslim outreach.
Stopping the border fence.
Suing Arizona and demonizing the state.
The constant ‘Bush did it’ refrain.
The slurs against’ limb-lopping’ doctors.
The warnings of the ‘rich’ going to the Super Bowl and Las Vegas.
Unhinged appointees like Van Jones and Anita Dunn.
Cash for clunkers.
Monetizing the debt.

For imposing taxes on us without our consent:

For depriving us in many Federal cases, of the benefits of trial by jury, through direct political interference in the Department of Justice:

For transporting us beyond seas to be tried for pretended offenses in courts without standing, as well as seeking governance over US citizens by the United Nations and its unapproved treaties:

For abolishing or ignoring our laws, establishing herein an arbitrary government:

For taking away our charters, abolishing through Court action or Executive Order our most valuable laws, and altering fundamentally the forms of our governments:

He has abdicated government here, by declaring us out of his protection and waging war against those Citizens opposing his “rule.”

He has plundered our economy and Treasury, ravaged our coasts, and through malfeasance and indifference destroyed the lives of thousands of our people.

He has comforted himself and his family in a ‘royal’ manner totally unworthy the elected head of a civilized nation.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst the foundations of this nation.

In every stage of these oppressions we have petitioned for redress in the most reasoned, legitimate and law-abiding terms: our repeated petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A self-important prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.

Nor have we been wanting in attention to our American brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by our Federal legislature and courts to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our lawful emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been too often in opposition to the voice of justice and of consanguinity.

We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, enemies in war, in peace friends.

We, therefore, the free Citizens of the United States of America, in Collective Congress, assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the name, and by the authority of the good people of these States and families, solemnly publish and declare, that we are, and of right we and are established to be free and independent states; that they are in observance and enforcement of the Constitution of the United States of America, and that as free and independent states, they have full power to levy war, conclude peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to do all other acts and things which independent states may of right do, as prescribed in Law and in Fact in the Constitution. And for the support of this declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.

And when we win the day, the 4th of July will no longer be known as just Independence Day, but also as Restoration Day, as the day when the U.S.A again declared in one voice:

“We will not go quietly into the night!
We will not vanish without a fight!
We’re going to live on! We’re going to survive!” Today, we celebrate our Restoration Day!

He left Bloomberg for CNBC a few years ago where he couldn't land a gig to save his life. They finally tossed him over to msnbc where he found his loony liberal side and seems to be fitting in with that emotionally hemorrahging brain dead crowd that calls on others to do dirty work they pretend conservatives are guilty of.

Oh, and on Bloomburg he was crazy puppy dog goo-goo eyes over a co-host he constantly embarrassed himself, Paige Hopkins was her name.

I find it quite ironic that on 1 Nov 2010 these same folks pontificated that anyone who even said bad things about “The One” or the leftists and their agenda were terrorists and worse.

Since Wednesday they are now talking violent overthrow without batting an eye.
