Unions are spending like their very existence depends on liberals holding on to power in the U.S. government — which it does. The American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME), in fact, “has spent more than any other outside group this election,” according to Vincent Vernuccio, Labor Policy Counsel for the Competitive Enterprise Institute. In the 2010 election cycle, the AFSCME has given nearly $90 million, “almost exclusively to left-wing candidates,” says Mr. Vernuccio.

The unions are about all Obama has left and they will eventually destroy themselves.
Public unions steal from private sector businesses and eventually, the largess gets too greedy (see CA, NY and IL).

There are now more government employee union members than private sector union members
The sad truth is that public Employee Unions live on YOUR dime (taxes=govt. employment, raises, benefits, etc.) and the Union dues collected (again, these are YOUR tax dollars) are funneled to the Party that gives them everything, bails out their bad investments (Pension Funds), and keeps them working at YOUR expense.
Unions are controlling the Govt. now, and there's no way that a public employee AT ANY LEVEL needs a Union, PERIOD.
This union crap has to stop,interfering with elections should be made criminal.
Criminal? Wait until your 401K, IRA and private pension are confiscated to bail out the Union pensions. Then you will be screaming criminal.

I still remember in junior high a big wig from a local union came to speak to our social studies class. I don’t remember anything in particular that he said, but I remember him being scary and I thought at the time that he sounded like a communist. LOL
That's how bad Reid is.
Government should get regular SS and half pay of regular sector jobs. Used to be that way.
Of course better pay for fire and police, but being government employees, unions don't belong there either.
If this ever gets out of discussion stage and becomes a law, it will be my 2nd Amendment moment. No question about it. I reserve the right to protect what is mine with all the force I can purchase. As my President has already declared war on me by telling us we are the enemy. What a scum we have in the WH. There is not enough industrial strength Janitor in a Drum in the world to disinfect the White House upon his departure.

Unions have simply leveraged the damaged remains of the faux democracy.
