Its an internal campaign poll, but according to Sean Beilats campaign, the GOP candidate is in a statistical tie with Rep. Barney Frank:
We obtained a Bielat campaign internal memo on their polling from last week showing the race is a statistical dead-heat against incumbent Congressman Barney Frank. The memo, sent from an anonymous source, illustrates and echoes only what weve been hearing and seeing on the ground. While Sean Bielats number of supporters seem to be increasing at every event, Barney Franks supporters are all but non-existent.
Charlie Cook, founder of the Cook Political Report, has moved MA-4 from Likely Democratic to Lean Democratic. This has prompted at least one conservative blogger to make the bold claim that itll be bye, bye Barney on November 2nd:

WOW. 80-100 seats.
Nov. 3, 2010.
Dear Barney, we’ve grown apart since the polls closed last night. So I am leaving you. We’ll always have the Virgin Islands. Keep the pot.

I was driving around Bwarney’s district today and I saw more Bielat signs!
I’ll probably regret asking this because I hate polls anyway but what is an “internal” poll?
I suppose I should especially hesitate to ask that question in a thread about Barney Frank.
There is no Dem defeat I would relish more this year than that of this arrogant freak.
They're usually skewered because of the wording of the questions.
Frank’s handlers are having trouble getting him to campaign.
Every time they say ‘Barney, your behind’ he gets glassy eyed.
Candidates hire their own polling firms all the time - sometimes it is to poll their district or potential constituents on issues (think Bill Clinton), but most of the time it is to get a better look at the overall numbers. You get what you pay for though, and not knowing Bielat’s polling firm I can’t make any judgement on how accurate it is. Let’s just hope it is correct!
I think you mean skewed but skewered works good in a Barney Frank thread. Thanks.
Is Scott Brown helping Belat in any way? Mr. Brown must know better than anyone that the voters are furious. Where is he?
ROFLMAO!!
Gays can get extremely violent when they are rejected.
This could be loads of fun to watch, as this fairy tries to scratch the eyes out of anyone within his reach.
That would be too much to ask for if Frank, Reid AND Pelosi were shown the door (backdoor in Frank’s case).
Pity the poor fool reporter who asks Bawny why he lost.....
LOL... Yes!
BAWNEY BLOWS BIG lead.
Barney would probably enjoy that.
