What the hell is going on in Minnesota? First we have the Somali taxi-cab drivers wanting a private prayer room, then students wanting footbaths or something like that, then the Flying Imams on their security testing run and law suit, then Al Franken’s stolen election victory (check out the background of the present Secy of State Mark Ritchie, say about 1992, at a certain meeting in Minneapolis), more Islamic radicals causing trouble, Somalis in Minn. leaving to fight for Al Qaeda in Somalia, and now this woman (who I have never heard of and don’t want to hear of again unless her ass is out of Congress)?

However, by omitting the words, "under God", she was actually showing her disrespect to her position, the Flag, God and the American people. Oh, did I mention that she likes to brag about her Catholic faith when running for re-election?

I admit that I leave out "under God" when I say the pledge of allegiance. I am not trying to show disrespect for our Flag or country when I say the pledge, just the opposite. I do this because I'm an atheist. I can't think of another reason to do it. If this person claims to be a Catholic, she's a hypocrite.

It is a video of Democrat Betty McCollum leading the Pledge of Allegiance on the House floor. In the video you will see her omit the words, "under God".

Her staff claimed she was just taking a breath of air. Watch the video and make up your own mind. Was she breathing, or did she purposely omit the words, "under God".

I was at the IRL races at Sears Point (Infineon) raceway in CA this summer. A boy scout reading the Pledge of Allegiance over the loud speaker during pre-race ceremonies read the pledge, leaving out “under God”!! I was appalled, planned to write the head of the boy scouts, but never got around to it.
I’m sure he was put up to it by his liberal parents/scout leader.

I actually don’t have a problem with this. If someone doesn’t believe in God, I would still rather they said the Pledge and didn’t say “under God” rather than use it as an excuse to prevent everyone from saying the pledge. I feel the same about a moment of silence for prayer or meditation in public schools. Those who believe can use it for prayer, those who don’t can meditate or daydream.

That is a quote from Alec Baldwin as to what he wanted to to to Henry Hide. He said that on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." A nationally televised show back in 1998. I just adjusted some words to make my point
