What the hell is going on in Minnesota? First we have the Somali taxi-cab drivers wanting a private prayer room, then students wanting footbaths or something like that, then the Flying Imams on their security testing run and law suit, then Al Franken’s stolen election victory (check out the background of the present Secy of State Mark Ritchie, say about 1992, at a certain meeting in Minneapolis), more Islamic radicals causing trouble, Somalis in Minn. leaving to fight for Al Qaeda in Somalia, and now this woman (who I have never heard of and don’t want to hear of again unless her ass is out of Congress)?

Remember, Minnesota is the only state McGovern carried in Nixon's landslide victory, and it is only one of two states Reagan lost in his landslide.

Minnesota has been leftist since the day the communist party retreated there in the early 20's and formed the Democrat Farm Labor party.

They have been socialist and even leaning communist for a very very long time.It has got to have something to do with all that cold freezing the gray matter of their brains I figure.

The cores of Minneapolis and St. Paul, along with Duluth, are stocked to the rafters with certifiable loons. The rural areas of the Iron Range are all about Union Dems. That's what gives us Elison, McCollum, and Oberstar. You have no idea how completely insane you have to be to be the mayor of either Twin City, especially Minneapolis.

In state wide races, if the outstate suburban areas lean the slightest bit left (as they do as often as not), it's enough to produce a Klobuchar, Franken or Dayton. Minnesota only produces state wide Republicans winners in high tide Republican years. It's kind of a shame there's no senate race this year. It's the same with the state legislature. It's natural state is Dem. Occasionally Republicans will temporarily win the house, but never the Senate.
