Thanks to pissed off MN CD 4 voter for finding this gem and sharing with us. What you will see is a sad display of disrespect by a United States Congresswoman from Minnesota, Democrat Betty McCollum. It is a video that Betty does not want her voters to see, but it's too late Betty, you have been exposed.
After watching this video you will see how obvious it is that she she intentionally omitted the words, "Under God" from the Pledge of Allegiance. At the time, her staffers claimed she took a breath, but with the video now out, the lie has been exposed. She intentionally omitted the phrase.
What really makes this an affront to all is that she was actually leading the pledge on the floor of the House. If she were just saying it as a part of the whole chamber it would have been fine. However, by omitting the words, "under God", she was actually showing her disrespect to her position, the Flag, God and the American people. Oh, did I mention that she likes to brag about her Catholic faith when running for re-election?
If this offends you, or makes you angry, then I like many others ask that you email and call your friends who may be in her district to help expose her disrespectful attitude towards America and our pledge.
Follow this link to watch the video of
Democrat Betty McCollum leading the House of representatives
in the pledge. I'll let you decide if she omitted "under God" or, as her staff says, she was just taking a breath.

If you leave God out, God leaves you out.
Deny God and he might deny you (in the book of life).
I know I am supposed to pray for them, but a large portion of my whole anatomy wants to eliminate them, so they meet Him now!
God forgive me for my hatred for them.

I know in my heart that God can punish anyone much more than I can. I don’t come close to him.

What the hell is going on in Minnesota?
Remember, Minnesota is the only state McGovern carried in Nixon's landslide victory, and it is only one of two states Reagan lost in his landslide.
Minnesota has been leftist since the day the communist party retreated there in the early 20's and formed the Democrat Farm Labor party.
They have been socialist and even leaning communist for a very very long time.It has got to have something to do with all that cold freezing the gray matter of their brains I figure.

However, by omitting the words, "under God", she was actually showing her disrespect to her position, the Flag, God and the American people. Oh, did I mention that she likes to brag about her Catholic faith when running for re-election? I admit that I leave out "under God" when I say the pledge of allegiance. I am not trying to show disrespect for our Flag or country when I say the pledge, just the opposite. I do this because I'm an atheist. I can't think of another reason to do it. If this person claims to be a Catholic, she's a hypocrite.

Watched it twice... she did not take a breath... Why didn’t she get called on it when it happened?
She should be removed from the floor and the House!!!

Video Ping
OneVike told me I could ping his list to a video I posted on his site.
It is a
video of Democrat Betty McCollum leading the Pledge of Allegiance on the House floor. In the video you will see her omit the words, "under God".
Her staff claimed she was just taking a breath of air. Watch the video and make up your own mind. Was she breathing, or did she purposely omit the words, "under God".

I was at the IRL races at Sears Point (Infineon) raceway in CA this summer. A boy scout reading the Pledge of Allegiance over the loud speaker during pre-race ceremonies read the pledge, leaving out “under God”!! I was appalled, planned to write the head of the boy scouts, but never got around to it.
I’m sure he was put up to it by his liberal parents/scout leader.

Nixon carried Minnesota, the only state he didn’t carry was Massachusetts (reputedly had to do with his closure of the naval faux-base in Boston).
Reagan lost Minnesota in 1980 and 1984, and as you noted, he took the other 49 states in 1984. :’)

I actually don’t have a problem with this. If someone doesn’t believe in God, I would still rather they said the Pledge and didn’t say “under God” rather than use it as an excuse to prevent everyone from saying the pledge. I feel the same about a moment of silence for prayer or meditation in public schools. Those who believe can use it for prayer, those who don’t can meditate or daydream.

Or maybe just saying the original version.

When the man at the beginning said “Gentlewoman from Minnesota”, it kind of made me sick to my stomach. Is it not enough that women are serving in Congress right alongside the men? Do they really need to completely mangle the English language in the halls of Congress just to prove some point?

Oh man. This really gets my blood boiling.
Why If I were Alec Baldwin I would have half a mind to,
"Go to Washington, all of us together, go down to Washington and stone Betty McCollum to death, stone her to death, stone her to death! Then we should go to her house and we'd should kill her family, kill her children."
(Just so I don't get zotted off ot FR)
That is a quote from Alec Baldwin as to what he wanted to to to Henry Hide. He said that on "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." A nationally televised show back in 1998. I just adjusted some words to make my point

Mrs. McCollum,
Throughout the ages, men and women have denied God, but guess what? They’re all dead and God still lives, and will forever.
God is not mocked!

Not only did she deliberately omit the words, I believe the look on her face said it all. She did is as an act of rebelliousness. Perhaps she simply does not believe in God. This is where we are heading - a Godless society.
