O'Donnell to Christ Coons: "If you're saying what I said on a comedy show is relevant to this election, then absolutely, you writing an article saying you learned your beliefs from articulate intelligent Marxist professor and that what's made you become a Democrat, that should send chills up the spine of every Delaware voter" (Video)

Get back to me when you can speak to me in a civil manner. Good day, critic.

Point is you have decided she is not qualified to be a Senator, what exactly is the qualification to be a Senator? Look at what we have been sending to DC for the last 50 years. Is she all that unqualified, if she votes conservative, I consider her as qualified as McCain.

The anti Christine movement is primarily motivated by contempt for evangelical christrians— a problem sadly not limited to the left of this country.

No. The qualifications of being a Senator are actually very low. Witness Al Franken. And Schumer. And Boxer. And Graham.

The point is she does not have what it takes to be electable. And I don't mean that she's too conservative because conservative is very electable. I mean that she's (1) stupid and (2) has a lot of baggage. Being qualified means nothing if you can't win.

No, Christie led Corzine before the 3 week mark - by over 10 points until attempted spoiler Daggett entered the race. They were neck and neck three weeks out and Christie won by 4. At no point was Christie down 15.

For the record, I think you’re stupid and probably have a lot of baggage.

There
How do you like it, bozo?

I have followed (like others) what isgoing on in DE, I am not convinced the there is a spin that she is as you said “stupid” abd she has “baggage.” I do not see anything suggestine her opponent is any smarter. I know some very smart people who bought into the Palin is dumb spin and still believe it.

You may have failed to notice and you certainly failed to mention that she's cuter than a bug.

And very poised.

People like people like her.

The only things that she said that I didn't like is 1) she said she wants to protect Social Security, and 2) she said we should provide medical care to people without money and then just send them a bill. Why waste a stamp? Once they receive free care, the horse has left the barn.

Without a saddle.

Go Christine!!

So you had to post your ingenuity three times?

O'Donnell may be our only shot, but it takes gall to call someone a coward because they notice the emperor has no clothes.

And it takes a dupe like you to defend a coward who shows up on a thread only to post that O'Donnell has "baggage", as if it's breaking news. Or perhaps you agree with mwl8787 who believes that that comment was "insightful and valuable"?

Go back to sleep.

Democrats don't have to be smarter than us because they have the media running interference for them. But she does have some serious baggage.

First there's the lawsuit against ISI, which is an old guard Goldwater-Reagan style conservative think tank, despite the association of this charge with Rove. Second, she engaged in some pretty serious fibbing about her college credentials on her resume. Third, she's got the type of financial history that would scream out "Community Reinvestment Act" were she not a white Republican.

Except (1) I actually don’t have any baggage, unlike O’Donnell who falsified multiple items on her resume and filed a frivolous lawsuit against a respected conservative organization and (2) I’m not publicly proclaiming my enthusiasm for a lady who’s only steady job for the last 2 decades is continuously making a fool of herself on national television. So there to yourself.

Clever repartee, Lancey. Because I'm the first person ever on FR to multiply post while trying to reboot my wi-fi connection.

That debate was OK, but O'Donnell needs to boost her numbers by 50% to win. Had she been a good candidate to begin with, she wouldn't be in that position. All your posturing cannot change that.

...and ask yourself what exactly did she do, other than not being Mike Castle, to deserve this senate nod.

What exactly did she do? She had the guts to run for the nomination and she won it fair and square, genius.
What did you do, besides show up on a thread to talk her down and call her "stupid"?

Get outta here, you punk.

I believe all of you O’Donnell sucks folks are missing something she is exceptional at. She is draining resources and time from the DNC like nobodies business.

Obummer and Biden are spending time together when so many safe seats are becoming unwinnable. The broke Dims have to keep writing checks just because the left has the same opinion of her as you do. This is excellent stratigery.

Plus she has done us all a huge solid by ridding us of Castle. I saw the debate and thought she sounded great for selling a solid blue state.

"Posturing"?
O'Donnell is this, O'Donnell is that, blah blah blah, who cares? All the handwringing in the world isn't going to make her into a Ronald Reagan or a Sarah Palin, and that includes suspicious noobs showing up to do nothing but badmouth her. O'Donnell is the nominee and that's where we are.

So tell me: What is the point in badmouthing O'Donnell at this point?
I look forward to your reply.

FRegards,
LH
