What was the point in that poster’s useless, snotty assertion that O’Donnell has “baggage”?
Who cares? She’s the nominee. Winning is all that matters now.

Anyway, when that poster you are defending “cleverly” crafted together a sentence that combined a vicious swipe at Rove with a negative comment about O’Donnell, my spidey sense started to tingle. It left a stench. ..Just like your post did. So go play with yourself.

Bitter? Hardly. The outcome of the Delaware primary was not a pressing concern of mine.

But saddened that so many self-described conservatives are apparently stupid enough to think a blithering idiot like Christine O'Donnell is our political savior from Obamunism? Yes.

Speak for yourself . She is not my idiot . She is a young woman who won her nomination and is running for the senate . She is fighting hard and had the stones to debate the bald panty sniffer and 2 so called moderators . So you don't like her so what . As if what you say means anything .

My two cents: Just tone it down a bit until after the election. What will be will be. I’ve gotten in a few digs here and there, but I mean, she’s the candidate. It’s too late now. Save the post mortems for POST mortem, as much as you can.

Try falsifying her resume for starters. And I don't care if she had student loans to pay off - that's not a mark against her. But lying about it by claiming a degree before she had it, along with inflating multiple other claims such as the line about obtaining a certification from Oxford, is indeed a problem. It suggests she has an issue with being forthright and truthful. And that is baggage I'd rather not have from our candidates.

So the clown from Minny can be a Senator, but O’Donnell just does not haver the right stuff? What is the right stuff, McCain or Lindsay Graham? She is better than 33% of the GOP Senators currently in office.

Fine by me, but I'm also of the opinion we should just write this one off and focus on other races. She does have the unfortunate effect of pulling down our ticket elsewhere as long as she stays in the news. And I'd rather not lose McMahon or Angle as well because they get unwillingly grouped with her.

The left is already trying to pile O'Donnell's baggage onto Angle because they both attended events at the Claremont Institute, both are perceived as Tea Party women etc., even though Angle has nothing to do with O'Donnell. Propping her up and pretending there's nothing wrong with her only makes the left's case easier for them, and we lose 3 races instead of just 1.

It’s worse than that. O’Donnell will be a black eye for the tea party. But look on the bright side. Our populace is so stupid in 6 months they won’t even remember Christine O’Donnell. Then again, from what I can tell, COD will find a way to stay in front of the camera==her favorite place to be. Maybe she can become a FOX analyst.

Exactly where did I ever say Franken was Senatorial material? Oh wait. Never. Although I do find it odd that the only bar you set for our candidates is that they must be better than Franken. That’s kinda like defining “physical fitness” by simply weighing less than Rosie O’Donnell.

And let's face facts: if the Democrats ran a candidate for Senator who sued her old boss for "gender discrimination" with the ultra-liberal EEOC, who hadn't held down a job for seven years, who failed to pay a mortgage and then sold the house to an employee of her campaign whom she was dating at the time, and was now living in an apartment rented for her by her campaign we would be having a field day over it.

I find it extremely hard to believe that the only possible choices for GOP voters in DE were a stooge like Castle and a person who can't even run her own life.

O'Donnell may be our only shot, but it takes gall to call someone a coward because they notice the emperor has no clothes.

I am so very impressed with your emotional maturity - juvenile name calling right up there with an 8th grader.

I am in Delaware. I am encouraging everyone I know to vote for COD. That said, I have found constructive comments by other posters to be insightful and valuable. If you disagree, so be it.

I voted for Gerald Ford over Carter in 1976. That decision did not make Gerald Ford a rocket scientist.

One can still agree with Karl Rove and concurrently support and vote for COD. Why is this concurrent viewpoint so threatening?

But if you want a realistic assessment of the political situation in Delaware as it stands right now, pull your lips off of Christine O'Donnell's ass and ask yourself what exactly did she do, other than not being Mike Castle, to deserve this senate nod.
