If I were the mother of a suffering child - I mean a deeply suffering child - I would be the first to want to put a pillow over its face
If it was a child I really loved, who was in agony, I think any good mother would.
This goes to show that no principle of civilization, no preceptno matter how holy, authentic, or certaincannot be twisted into the service of evil. Murder as an act of love.
The statement above is that of UK television pundit Virginia Ironside. The video below shows the entire exchange.
The host, about to introduce another guest was shocked into continuing the conversation calling her statement a horrifying thing. Indeed.
In another part of the interview, Ironside said that abortion too is an act of love. If a babys going to be born severely disabled or totally unwanted, surely an abortion is the act of a loving mother.
Ironsides statements left the other guest, Reverend Joanna Jepson, with her mouth hanging open at the horror. She has other reasons for being horrified. If Ironside had her way, people like Jepson and her disabled brother would never have been born or perhaps lovingly smothered to death.

Margaret Sanger reborn. This is pure evil at work in the world. It can only be stopped by the force of Good weilded by those who ARE willing to fight against evil.

not Catholic
don’t even have to watch the video
This is not surprising. This is the view of the new pseudo-intellectual mindset of the “enlightened” elites. (New same as the old).
Inevitable result of the Nietzsche “God is dead” mentality.

Hey Laz...in their dreams. The left in America has no balls or stomach for that mano a mano. They would work toward, and are working toward, an Evil Empire (totalitarian government of any flavor) to accomplish their twisted and demented dreams.

Post-natal abortion? Wow. I guess we don’t need to debate where life begins anymore...Just see how they turn out and if you don’t like it...Well, it’s still a choice...It’s still just a “few cells.”
I had to listen more than once...I can’t believe she said that.
Don’t we just call this murder in our society?

So if someone were to put a bullet through Ironside’s head - as long as the assassin “loved” her, it would all be OK in the eyes of God??

Several years ago I read an article that had been written as if it was a letter from a woman to her mother, explaining why they had decided to ‘abort their two or three year old kid...How it was in everyone’s best interest to end his life.
I remember scoffing in my teenage naivete, thinking how ridiculous the whole premise was.

Yesterday Glenn Beck showed this clip and also spoke about a college professor here in the USA that supports “abortion” of babies up to two years old. I think his name is Singer.

Look at the man hands on that bitch! She could smother an innocent child using a large futon and not cut a sweat.
To: PGR88
No...it wouldn’t be OK in the eyes of God.
But it certainly might make ME feel better.
(And yes...I know that was cruel thing to write, but right now, I’m kinda pissed.)

Post-natal abortion? These were the same people who were whining about how evil and terroristic it was when Tiller the Baby Killer was aborted.

Yep! I saw this vid, along with the one where the teacher blows up 2 students on Beck last night. I have to say I was shocked as I had not been exposed to this evil crap for years. Last time was when I spent time with a sibling that was great pals with lots of Ivy League professors. They would all sit around with their red wine and talk like this in a detached, smarty pants mode. It sickened me then but I was too young to stand up to it. Seeing this latest group of evil pseudo-intellectuals...well, I will find a way to do my part to put a kink in their activities.

Assuming this creature has a living mother- would it be ok with her if HER MOTHER decided she was mentally disabled and suffering from terminal evil and came by her home to smother her?
I mean, if mothers are supposed to do this out of ‘love’, and her mother is mortified by what she spawned, is age a factor?

The left simply is murderous. You expect different with their own children?
You're right - they are...and I'd like to take this opportunity to step beyond this observation for a minute and address an issue I have with Glen Beck.
Let me say first that 99% of the time, the guy hits the nail on the head. However, his recent shows promoting the approaches of MLK and Ghandhi to the predations of the left is more than a little concerning.
I would propose that the success of MLK and Ghandhi had little to do with the inherent strategy of nonviolence that they used, but rather that they employed it in the setting of cultures that were predominantly Judeo-Christian in its orientation (America and England, 40-50 years ago) and in countries that had free and fair elections.
Had either man attempted that approach in the setting of China, Nazi Germany, or the USSR they would have faced Tianmen Square, the gas chambers, or the gulag and it is unlikely that anyone in the west would have ever heard of them. Certainly their strategy would have not worked to change society in any measurable way.
Which brings us to the issue of the character of the opposition we face. The American left is murderous and anti-life. They do not respect the founding documents or our nation, let alone the ten commandments. They are as far from a group that respects Judeo-Christian morality as you'll find on planet earth...yes, probably even moreso than the Islamists.
When faced with such a foe, it is unlikely for the right to make a successful defense of the constitution and the nation employing the tactics of Ghandhi. Rather, we should work diligently at the ballot box until this venue is removed. Then, the second amendment exists for a reason.
