While the electorate is bamboozled with ‘Taliban Dan vs. Alan Disgrason’ political commercials, the Obama Debt Commission is plotting the future of America.
While the people are picking sides in the ‘Witchcraft Lady vs. the Marxist Pet’ mud fight, the economists are picking the victims of the future tax-hikes.
If you think that housekeeping for Meg Whitman for $23 per hour is cruel – wait till you have to give part of those dollars for Value Added Tax (the Fiscal Commission favorite) on everything you consume.
Halloween is around the corner, but the Commission’s suggestions promise to be much spookier. This is why Democrats and Republicans don’t want to talk about it.
The scary items that come up in different proposals include ‘carbon tax’: the ultimate tax zombie – still alive and creeping its way into legal existence.
If you are for or against Bush tax-cuts you are just wasting your time. The Obama Commission is full of plans for radical, fundamental tax reforms. The current income tax code is about to be shredded in the near future and the Bush tax-cuts wouldn’t matter in the aftermath.
Harry Reid didn’t schedule the Bush tax-cuts for debate after the election. It is understandable, because the Fiscal Commission will be ready with their report at that time and President Obama promised up-or-down vote on it.
Tax-deductions for health care and mortgages are under assault. Bloody knife is sticking out of the state and local tax deductions and the corporate subsidies.
Increase retirement age to 68 (including Medicare), reduce spousal benefits in Social Security, and progressively reform Tricare (‘those evil rich veterans can afford to pay more for their plans or go to the ObamaCare exchanges’ type of reform). Scared already?

Since all eyes are on that race right now, it would give this topic the exposure it doesn’t presently have, and definitely needs.

A stop must be put to the progress of this diabolical cabal. Honestly, I see no practical limit on what they may attempt to enact.We really have to cease thinking of them as ‘rational folks who lean a little to the left’. They are every bit as deadly and as malevolent as any external enemy. Even more so...they would enslave us for our working lives before killing us.
