In little to no time, Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey has become one of the most beloved and admired conservatives in the country. Christie, a son of an Irish father and a Sicilian mother, has a simple approach to politics: hes always honest, afraid of no one, and speaks truth to power. If some people dont want to hear the truth because they fear it, well, thats their problem. He ways what he believes, and he does what he says, no matter what the consequences may be.
At a time when Washington D.C. is controlled by ideological leftists who are constantly pushing a radical progressive agenda, and conservatives in the nations capitol are deemed too weak kneed and civil by many conservatives, they consider Governor Christies style a fresh breath of air. Finally, conservative activists seem to believe, there is one of them in a position of power who holds no barrels and takes no prisoners.
While the Right adores The Phenomenon from New Jersey, the Left has come to loath him. They hate him because hes willing to take them on, and refuses to retreat, even when hes under fire from the nations most powerful unions.
Here are the top five moments of Governor Christie showing progressives his teeth. Watch and enjoy.
5. Christie Slams Obamas Stimulus Plan
Governor Christie is a convinced fiscal conservative. He believes the government whether it be on a state or a federal level has to balance its budget. New Jerseys and Americas problems have to be solved by solutions that will work out well in the long run, not merely in the short run.

I love this guy, especially since the lefties hate him. Remember the guy that Christie told to sit down and shut up? Ed Schultz had that guy on his show to trash Christie.
The latest game the Dems are playing is blaming him for the 20 percent increases in local property taxes after he and the Dem legislature passed the 2.2 percent cap. The governor pointed out to several complainers that the law held local governments to 2.2 percent with the voluntary option to ignore the cap when it comes to pensions and health care costs (something the Dem legislatures demanded in order to pass the cap). Thus if the town choses to ignore the cap and placate the union on rises in pensions and insurance in lieu of cutbacks, then the town have no one to blame but their local gov for exercising option to ignore the 2.2 percent cap.
There may yet be hope for that state.
The best of ba-da-bing!
The well hath gone dry a long time ago.
Now if someone like him would show up in MN. That state needs it badly.
There would most likely be riots in the streets of Minneapolis just by his presence.

Have long believed that Pubbies are too well mannered. Even those with military war experience; Ike, Dole, Bush 41, McCain. Perhaps it has something to do with deferring to civilian authority; ie Congress & POTUS
The GOP is in sore need of some manly-men hell-raisers. Chris Christie gets it.
Ping for later!
I laughed at every one of those videos. The guy has balls and is doing what he genuinely believes is good for the people of NJ.
Oh, they've got 'em. The top three names are Sarah, Michelle & Christine.

Very nice poetry, Leni.
Chris Christie needs to give training sessions in “How to Govern with Cajones” to his fellow Republican Governors.

I've been waiting 6 years for you to remember the dang thing.
Hoping to jog your memory I had even sent all my egrets to your yard so they could mess up YOUR patio for a change.
Oh, man....seeing that poem again after so many years made the heron my head stand up!
