Ground Zero, Holy and Sacred

I was listening to the Rusty Humphries show last night, and Rusty challenged a caller to tell him what made Ground Zero holy and sacred ground. Try as he might, in all of his frustration and grief the caller could not express himself clearly enough to get his point across to Rusty, so I offer this...

Holy. It is said and written in all religion, regardless of the name by which he is called, that God is the holy of the holies. In the Bible, at 1 John 4:16 it reads "God is love". And in those same pages, it is written at John 15:13 that "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends".

On and immediately following September 11, 2001 more than 400 brave men and women laid down their lives in their feverish attempts to save friends, family members, and those that they did not even know. In doing so, they invoked upon the grounds of Ground Zero the undeniable manifestation of God as he is found in all creatures great and small.

In the days, weeks and months that followed, crosses were erected upon that terrible spot of land, as were shrines and memorials of every kind and from every faith in which love may be found. Mothers, fathers, children and siblings dropped to their knees upon that earth, prostrated their bodies to God, praying for answers, for relief, and for the souls of those nearly three-thousand innocent lives that were ripped from us that dark day.

Nine years have come and gone since that dreadful day in American history, and the earth beneath the place where the World Trade Center Towers once stood still refuses to give up the remains of many who perished at the deeds of an evil theopolitical belief system that deemed it necessary to kill the innocent. The cold ground still holds those lost bodies close to her, making herself into a graveyard so that she will always and forevermore be a place of sacred burial.

Ground Zero, for all the pain and suffering that came upon that piece of land in September of 2001, is and shall always be holy and sacred ground. Let no establishment of government bear power over this land, and let no wicked structure be built upon her, or beside her, for this land belongs only to the God who was invoked upon her by those that paid the ultimate price that day.

It is well documented that one of airplanes that hit the WTC towers crashed through the roof of the Burlington Coat Factory (where Imam Rauf plans to build his mosque/non-mosque "Muslim Y") building that day. Think about it--where had that engine been? When the plane hit the tower, it PLOWED THROUGH OFFICES FILLED WITH HUMAN BEINGS. There is no telling how many people were actually hit with that engine, parts torn from them as the momentum of the crash continued on for several hundred yards, before hitting Burlington's roof and crashing through it. Human DNA was all over that engine, and that makes the Burlington Coat Factory building, IMO, PART OF GROUND ZERO.

If Imam Rauf and whoever it is that is going to be backing this so-called 'business proposition' TRULY want to 'mend fences' with non-muslims, THEY WOULD GRACEFULLY BACK OUT OF THIS PROJECT and respect the wishes of 70+% of Americans who do not wish them to build their mosque/non-mosque there. Yet they continue on with their plans, causing intense divisiveness among muslims/non-muslims. Just what are Imam Rauf & Co.'s true intentions with all this???

Roy Pope said it well and you were specific and right on in your detail of WHY that arrogant muslim, who wants to build the traditional victory symbol of muslims (for centuries) over a place of successful conquest, IS A GENUINE CREEP.

I hope you send Roy's facebook page along with YOUR COMMENTS to media outlets. ALL of them, who knows, just maybe one of them will pick up on the information you shared. Our country could sure benefit from the 9/11 crash detail as it relates to that creep's building plans.

He does not have an OUNCE of respect for the people who lost family and friends there, nor does he have an ounce of respect for fellow Americans.

He knows what he is doing.

And he knows he has the liberal freaks in our country to back him up as he goes about attempting to hurt all of us as much as possible.

He does not need a mosque there, and he knows it.

He wants the recruitment and gloat facility there-a devil's playground for soul sick muslims and disgruntled Americans who drop by to say 9/11 was America's fault!

He isn't stupid.

He is an American citizen who hates us. He supports Hamas (the ones who strap bombs on children) and he has stated he wants sharia law enacted in America.

Yeah. Sharia law....I thought he was all concerned about our constitution and yet he wants to override our rule of law? That is grounds for deportation. As a citizen he is bound to uphold our rule of law. He can worship the child molester if he wants to, but he CANNOT subvert our rule of law.

Liberals NEVER met a dirtbag they can resist rolling over for. Ever.

It has been nine years since the cowardly, murdering Muslims attacked America, taking over 3,000 innocent lives.

Michelle Obama has an open letter on the White House site reminding us all that September 11th is 'Nationl Day Of Service' day. Obama means to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry, and an "interfaith day of service".

The Pretender In Chief cannot have Americans remembering what really happened on 9-11-01. As an islamist he must defuse any potential threat to his true religion and denigrate the sacrifices of those who were murdered by his brother Muslims on that tragic day.

Don't let it happen.
