Congress has not passed a 2011 budget

September 10, 2010 A little election reminder: Congress has not passed a 2011 budget Monte Kuligowski Byron York has a great piece out that highlights the awkward position of congressional Democrats who voted for ObamaCare. With the midterm elections fast approaching, the once-celebratory Democrats are now silent about their "historic" achievement.

Healthcare "reform" was so urgent and important that no one had time to read its two thousand pages, much less have honest debate before C-SPAN cameras as Obama promised. Reading it alone would have taken "two days and two lawyers to find out what it means" and they simply didn't have time for that.

They want to wait and blame it on the Republicans.

Taxation without Representation -- your unborn great-grandkids are going to pay for these policies.
Government of men, not laws -- they don't even write this stuff down before they pass it or spend it.
The Will of the People -- means nothing. The Democrats are constructing a "firewall" so that they can hold on to power no matter how much the people oppose them.

Why hasn't the revolution started?

Yup. But they “deemed” it as passed so they could continue to spend money without comlying with the budget process of Congressional examination, debate and a vote for the first time in the 89 year history of the Congressional budget process.

They point out that it was such a disgusting ploy that over 10% of the Democratic Representative crossed the aisle to vote with Republicans against it as it is such an apparent sham to keep their lies about the cost of their programs off the record.

As the Roman Republic vanished and the dictatorial empire began, Augustus, like Pelosi, was careful to keep the Roman Senate and other cousels and offices in place so that it seemed that the government of old still functioned as all power was consolidated. The people, accepting that continued to live for centuries under the forms, but not the realities, of the Republic they had once enjoyed.

At best, criminal negligence.

At worst, conspiracy to commit fraud, treason, and 300 million counts of conspiracy to violate the constitutional rights of citizens.

But of course, as the victims in the epic crime, we have no standing.

I'm lazy.

“Why hasn’t the revolution started? “

Have wondered about this myself! I guess we are just conditioned to accept the consequences of our votes...

Afraid of the backlash for their greed and corruption they continue to hide reality from the people, just like those jerks running Kalifornia.

They're waiting until after the elections to sock it to us...hopefully the GOP will filabuster and block it and if need be, shut down the government until 2011 when they take over and pass a realistic budget.

There's one thing you can be sure of, if the democrats are doing it, it's a scam and something about it is either unethical, or illegal. That is what the democrat party has become - a street gang.

Enough for me, but it won’t happen until they actually make good on their intentions to confiscate all IRAs, 401Ks, funded retirement plans, etc. and replace them with a supplemented Social Security ‘Promise’. They are already colluding internally on the best way to put a ‘face’ on this abortion.

This sets a great scenario for the Democrats. When the current continuing resolution runs out, the Democrats will
propose another continuing resolution. If the Republicans balk, then the Democrats will come back and blame the Republicans for the fact that the government will quit functioning at a certain point. That means, the perception will be that the social program, agriculture and contractual disbursements will not be made. Social Security, Medicare, payments will not be made. Funding for Veterans Administration, Indian Health Service, military services and contracts and virtually all other government institutions will stop. The same for unemployment compensation disbursements to the states.

The Democrats will make certain Americans know who has stopped their money.
