Are you sick and tired of being called a racist because you don't agree with Barack Obama's policies?
If you are, you shouldn't read any further, for Cynthia Tucker this weekend claimed the voter anger that threatens the Democrat majorities in the House and the Senate is all a function of racism.
It certainly seems not. Wildly casting aspersions of "racism" is not only rude, it's downright stupid. It erodes whatever disapprobative value might still be left to the term, leaving its use cheap and worthy only of community agitators and other demagogues.
I am sick of Cynthia Tucker, Eugene Robinson, and the others that cry "racism" when anyone disagrees with them.
BITE ME CYNTHIA!!!
‘How long do they think they can milk these racist crap?,
As long as it works. Remember: she lives in Atlanta. She has no idea how many white people live in this country.
Blacks and Hispanics are the ones who are actively racist...The real racism is in groups like the New Black Panthers and La Raza...not whites
Alright, who didn’t send Cynthia the memo. The race card has been expired, overdrawn, cut in half, and just no good anywhere. It has been replaced by the “I don’t care what you say” card.
I hate the WHITE part of Obama. That’s what I tell Liberals. The puzzled look on their faces is priceless.
Something like 97% of black folks are racist. White folks, Asians, Latinos, others, maybe three or four percent of each group is racist. That’s my experience anyway, YMMV of course. The reason these folks see racism everywhere is because when they are in their “commoomity” everyone really is racist. So, they figure it’s the same everywhere and project.
And it would be wonderful if people started to realize the fact that you just mentioned. Thank you for saying it. Why are 99% of bad neighborhoods bad? It’s gov’t and the people that think everything is owed to them and that is a fact.
The Cynthia Tucker Democrats are currently running the government. But that won’t be for long.
I think, for the first time, the race card has been played so randomly and illogically, that people are getting fed up with it. It is losing its power.
The other thing I’ll point out is when you elect a person because of the color of his skin, you will end up in a quandry. Look at what all this “race” talk has done. It’s given us an incompetent president. The ultimate failure of affirmative action.
It is racism; I am in favor of the human race and the damned democrats are trying to destroy it.
Hey Cynthia...take a long walk off a short pier you Dolt!
You are absolutely right about how it has worked until now. But please note the response to this post. If you simply and baldly say that the race-card player is a bigot then you turn the tables.
Sure, the conversation stops for a minute but you will be amazed how fast the racer changes the subject back to the real topic at hand.
We win, they lose.
What a racist thing to say! ;-)
It's all they've got left. The Left is out of arguments, so instead, they make false accusations. Charles Krauthammer nailed it last week:
"What's a liberal to do? Pull out the bigotry charge, the trump that preempts debate and gives no credit to the seriousness and substance of the contrary argument. The most venerable of these trumps is, of course, the race card. When the Tea Party arose, a spontaneous, leaderless and perfectly natural (and traditionally American) reaction to the vast expansion of government intrinsic to the president's proudly proclaimed transformational agenda, the liberal commentariat cast it as a mob of angry white yahoos disguising their antipathy to a black president by cleverly speaking in economic terms."
‘Fear of a White Minority’
Hmmm Detroit anyone? E. St Louis? Watts? Haiti? Zimbabwe?...
The first time I was called a racist was when I was 9 years old and in girl scout camp. I was called that because my family moved from the west side of Chicago to the northwest suburbs. It was one of the many times I was called that by the people in Elgin, IL. I have gotton a pretty thick skin now and refuse to kowtow to those who think by insulting me I will go over to their side.
I think their a bunch of brain dead idiots, but I’m too polite to call that to their faces.
Close enough inner city Atlanta.
