New body scanners at San Diego Airport / Lindbergh Field show passengers' parts

Voyers, exhibitionists, as well as the overly cautious and fearful are most likely thrilled that the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) installed new body scanners at San Diego International Airport / Lindergh Field yesterday. The rest of us are not so happy because the scanners clearly display a person's parts through his/her clothes: arms, legs, belly rolls, breasts.

Modesty and privacy are slowing going the way of the buffalo yet perhaps the majority don't mind...

So now these advanced imaging technology scanners, made by Rapiscan Systems, are being strategically placed in our airports in the name of safety. Each scanner is able to generate a full-body image in order to screen passengers. The black and white images leave nothing to the imagination.

Comparable to dental x-rays, your body shows up clearly like your teeth, while your clothes, much like your lips and gums, are see-through ...

These images are definitely pornography, for which I am a willing consumer, but an unwilling subject.

I like to go through several times as I have an extra large ummm, err, ahem... “package” and I want the male TSA dorks to be jealous. And some of the female TSA ask for my phone number. A few want to do a pat down search.

Frankly, I don’t care if people see my ‘junk’. It’s all original, has a few miles on it, but has been well taken care of. Sure, age has taken it’s toll - but after seeing a couple 100,000 of these a week - if that’s what it takes to give a person his jollies - so be it.

I know that I cannot smuggle some C4 in my underwear, and neither can the Arab male between the ages of 18 and 34. If this ‘exposure’ keeps Muslims as a whole off the aircraft - well, that’s another added bonus.

Pesonally, I’d like to see the seats in the aircraft covered in pig leather. It’s relatively inexpensive, it wears well and no Muslim wants to be contaminated with any swine by-product before heading off to his 72 Raisens.

Airport screeners will have access to huge high definition images that, once inverted, will allow them to see every minute detail of your body.

Link has nudity...

I have nothing to worry about from these things since nobody really wants to see flabby old engineer naked. They'll be doing their best to avert their eyes when I pass through the scanner.

its not about the flabby old engineers or men in general....its that the images of our young girls or women will be published by the scum that govt agencies sometimes hire.....

this is totally obscene and if they would just PROFILE I wouldn't mind but that is not polically correct....

people do not realize how invasive govt has become....

I'll bet that the rich and famous don't have to go thru this...
