As some of you already know, Im currently unemployed and hunting a new job. This has actually proven to be more work than having a job. Its the first time Ive been out of work for longer than a week or two, and its frustrating. The whole process of applying for unemployment, wallpapering the town with job applications and stressing over bills is frustrating to say the least. For me, its uncharted territory.

Normally I’d jack with you for excerpting needlessly but
I enjoyed the story and can relate to it. So I won’t jack with you.
Well written piece!

Well, if I'd posted the whole text here you'd have missed the charming restroom image. ;-)

Interesting read. I can relate to no job. I have been looking for over a year now and finally gave up and opened shop repairing iphones, blackberries and laptops.
VERY slow as yet, but at least I am spending my time trying to help myself instead of trying to convince others of how I can help them.

I'm exploring options via the state to take computer courses. I already build the occasional website for someone but don't have a degree, which hurts my chances credibility-wise. With proper certification I may be able to get out of the truck and into something easier in terms of my health issues. Part of my problem now is that I failed a DOT physical. Best of luck in your new endeavor.
