Levi Johnston is appearing on "The Early Show" Friday (Aug. 27), but CBS has released some juicy tidbits from the interview.
When asked by "Early Show" correspondent Betty Nguyen if he has any regrets, Johnston says, "I don't really regret anything. But the only thing I wish I wouldn't have done is to put out that apology [to Sarah Palin] 'cause it kind of makes me sound like a liar. And I've never lied about anything. So that's probably the only thing. The rest of the stuff I can live with."
Really? He doesn't regret that silly Playgirl photoshoot? Hmm.
When asked if he thinks he can be a better mayor than Sarah Palin, Johnston replies, "Let's hope so. I can't guarantee or promise you anything but I'm gonna try ... That's the goal."
He also comments during the interview on the recent rumors that his ex-girlfriend and baby mama Bristol Palin is part of the newest season of "Dancing With the Stars" cast.
He’ll probably end up dating Lindsay Lohan.

Levi is a misguided, immature young man who’s under the tutelage of a snake in the grass Anchorage lawyer/pimp by the name of Rex Butler. Someday his 15 minutes will be up and the snake will abandon him broke and homeless.
I believe a turning point was when the media made a stink about him getting a apprentice job in the oil field services business and he was forced to quit the apprenticeship. Now he has no real job, and nothing but idle time where his pimp feeds him fantasies of Hollywood stardom and riches. Idle hands are the Devil’s workshop. To think he would otherwise be in the oil fields under the mentor-ship of real men is the real shame.

He is just trading off of knowing the Palins. If he maintained a consistent position there’d be no “news” and no reason to put him on TV. Presumably he gets a few bucks for being on TV, so why not change his mind and say something assinine so he can pay his rent?
If Sarah was a liberal, the MSM would have summarily dispensed Levi Johnston to the dustbin of history long ago.
And why is CBS interviewing an unemployed, mostly absent father from Alaska? How many ex-boyfriends of Chelsea Clinton has CBS interviewed? Are they going to stalk the 7th grade boyfriends of Sasha/Malia to get their next big "exclusive"?
