The Hill runs a report crediting Sarah Palin for her many Republic primary victories. Before conservatives take too much pleasure in such news, read how she is credited with helping sweep John McCain to victory. Palin traveled to Arizona and made numerous campaign appearances with McCain, bringing him the Tea Party creds he so desperately needed to undercut the fact that he is a nearly three-decades-long, left-leaning Washington insider.
That Palin chose to conveniently back McCain over conservative former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth is a truth that should not soon be forgotten. Her help, McCains falsely running to the right, taking positions adverse to his established ones and $21 million dollars in attack ads did the trick.
Sarah Palin is all about expediency. She is no conservative.
As I recall you've also posted numerous positive articles from his supporters and about him and have defended him a lot in the past.
Palin is a conservative, but not a purist. She is not a Ron Paul type. Palin will support 60%-100% conservative type candidates, while Ron Paul will only support ppl who are 100% in line with his. Thats why Palin can lead a large coalition while Ron Paul can only lead 10% at most
Haha. That's funny.
I'm on and off. I've soured on him as of late after he made those dumb comments in defense of the Ground Zero mosque.
which McClintock
Tom McClintock. The one from California. The one that is the subject of one of ccg's ping lists.
LOLOLOLOL! Oh foolish child. You crack me up with your obsessions.
She’s done good for the most part... got to forgive her for supporting her running mate (I guess). Yes, like most, I really hate to see the liberal McCain back in office... At least he was forced to run Conservative to win...
She does do good and should be applauded for that...
Only sixty percent? That's a pretty low standard, doncha think?
YAWN!
So what?
Have you seen any such posts in the last month?
I mean are you seriously saying that McCains VP nominee campaigned for McCain?
WTF?!
LOL! Brilliant!
One good comment doesn't remove your past poor judgement fwiw.
Your obsessive behavior embracing PDS kind of confirms that.......
Basically, EVEN amongst conservative and libertarians, we don’t agree 100% with each other. Some like coffee, some like tea. Thats call having a an opinion and being individuals, but we generally have the same philosophy. We also sometimes have different ideas on how to achieve it. Some people never compromise, some ppl compromise if we get 60% of what we want. I believe Mccain is a conservative, he’s just someone who tends to compromise to try to get along to much. My main problem with Ron Paul is that he hardly ever attack Democrats, but spend so much time attack Republicans. He generally view Democrats with good intentions just wrong, while he view Republicans with ill intentions. Ron Paul can never win because of this. He attack his potential allies more than he attack his opponents
You mean, after she resigned her post, right?
mom of 5
Her daughter Bristol is running amok and turning the public image of the Palin family into nothing more than daytime soap opera trash.
I don’t think that Tom McClintock will be running for President, and when I look at the Liberty Caucus Forum, you and your Ron Paul articles pretty much dominate it.
My understanding all along from you was that you are pretty much a third party guy.
Not when "conservatives" discover that Big Government is a convenient way of ramming their agenda down the throats of Americans.
Some people never compromise
There are certain principles on which one can not compromise; after all, if individuals can compromise on any of their principles, then they have none to begin with.
Only one?
Maybe you should read further back.
I have made far more than just one this year alone.
I don't know for sure, but the small evil streak deep inside me hopes that someday - in some way, Sarah pay McCain back for what he just put her through.
Knowing her, she's never going to do any such thing, although McNuts would deserve her worst. My guess is that when it comes, it will be something small, but very significant. Even poignant.
I generally support a mixture of Republicans and third-party candidates and have even supported one Democrat (Bob Conley in South Carolina in 2008, running against Lindsey Graham) in the past.
