Palin’s conservative fans need to reassess her “victories”
Seeing Red AZ ^ | 2010-08-26

The Hill runs a report crediting Sarah Palin for her many Republic primary victories. Before conservatives take too much pleasure in such news, read how she is credited with helping sweep John McCain to victory. Palin traveled to Arizona and made numerous campaign appearances with McCain, bringing him the Tea Party creds he so desperately needed to undercut the fact that he is a nearly three-decades-long, left-leaning Washington insider.

That Palin chose to conveniently back McCain over conservative former U.S. Rep. J.D. Hayworth is a truth that should not soon be forgotten. Her help, McCain’s falsely running to the right, taking positions adverse to his established ones and $21 million dollars in attack ads did the trick.

Sarah Palin is all about expediency. She is no conservative.

I made that statement in response to a post in which someone said that we all owe McCain a debt for introducing Sarah to us.

Uh...that would have been me...;o) I put out the same effort you did ...but don't see it as some big overall payment...matter of opinion I guess...

What is the deal here, what has gotten you so angry, I asked some one, McClintock who? when they gave the names of DeMint and McClintock as their favorite Presidential candidates and it has set you off.

I couldn’t think of any McClintock candidate for President in 2012, that is why I asked that freeper who he meant, how in God’s name could that be making you angry?

You're simply pathological, pissant. Not only do you misrepresent what occurred on that thread, you have to start calling names, as per your usual M.O.

You were challenged last night for simply returning to FR, after having just told Jim Robinson that you were bowing out of his forum.

I know retards like you can't read very well. But try re-reading posts 5, 8, 10, 12, 26, & 35 of the Hunter thread. Those were some real "challenges" about my returning here from the NAGS, eh toots?

I'm glad you aren't shoving off then. Keep ankle biting. Be sure to hit the abuse button when I continue to return fire. But if you keep crawling back for more, it could be a sign of BWS. I'd advise a shrink.

what’s your take on when SP will declare herself officially?

Presidential campaigns have gotten longer and longer, over the last few decades. The 2012 campaign will probably begin earlier than the 2008 campaign began.

My guess is that most of the serious contenders will make it known that their hat's in the ring by next summer.

I'm sure that Sarah will let us know something around the same time as the others, although she will probably time her announcement for maximum effect.

When it comes, look out. All hell's gonna break loose on both sides.

Hi caww! You betcha, just like you said, she left him in the dust long ago. In fact, I am just watching Greta’s replay and McCain was one of her guests. He remains jealous of her. It kills him to outrightly praise her, so he balances praise with, “she not right all the time, she makes mistakes like all of us do”, but the highlight was when he told Greta, that she has the impact on people that he’s not seen since.... Reagan! OH BOY!

Or, at least until Sarah declares her intention to run for the presidency in 2012. Once that happens, the PDS coven will be drowned out.

But, you're right. There are those on this side of the aisle who simply have an irrational dislike for Palin, and cannot overcome their bizarre compulsion to attack her on a conservative forum. As long as the forum owner permits this, it will continue.

Let's make a bet. I bet if she decides to run for POTUS the PDS posts here will get worse. Emotions will be much higher. I think a lot of these dudes (and some ladies) are hard-core religious folk. My (very) personal opinion is that on some level, they can't handle the fact that SP is not only an accomplished pol, she's attractive and sexy to boot. Even on this thread, pissant mentioned that some FReepers had invaded his Duncan Hunter thread with their "feminist mantras." There is a misogynist angle on this as well as a religious/moral one.

And even though it's frustrating to deal with the irrational, at least we're a forum that tolerates conflicting views. That's probably why a lot of us stay.

Set me off? ROFL!

No matter how many times you accuse me of being “angry,” I am anything but.

It seems you have your panties in a bunch, though.

I’m a Ron Paul supporter, and I think Palin did the right amount of campaigning for McCain.

Meh....don't read too much into what I said.

I actually do feel gratitude to McCain for having chosen Sarah as his running mate. It was a most fortuitous decision on his part, and is the one thing he'll most be remembered for. It was one of his finest moments in this life, and I'm very glad he did it, no matter what his motivations were at the time.

I agree...and like I said...he is but a small cog in a big machine...we have bigger fish to fry...;o)

(Note: 2008 was the first time I put out a political yard sign in my life....and it was for McCain-Palin...because Sarah's name was on it..;o))

Hi floozy22!

Some call it PalinDerangement Syndrome or Palin Emasculation Syndrome. I think it’s deeper than that: issues with strong and beautiful women. Likely dumped by one or more and taken to the cleaners or a lifetime of rejection by same. The haters sound just like the jounr0lists and Couric/Maddow, yet they claim they’re conservatives. Laughably sick.

Someone mentioned we owe McCain for introducing Sarah...NOT so...that debt was more than paid long ago. He got our votes running against BO so if anything he owes us....but we’ll never see him do a dang thing to stand up to the Demos...unless it makes him the man of the hour....he is such a pile of crap.

Even if he says good things about Sarah...it’s only cause he’s basking in the light of his win...not because Sarah means anything to him now. Course if she runs then maybe she can put a leash on him...for sure she would call him out.

I’m baffled at what could set you off and make you start pinging me with insults and name calling, it seems that you have some baggage that you are carrying with you through the threads.

“and which McClintock?” is a simple question, asking for clarification from another poster who posted to me, should not have started your continuous pinging of me to, to use your word, “snarky” insulting nonsense.

I know retards like you can't read very well.

You're a real piece of work, you know that? If you actually had an ability to hold an intellectual conversation, or to intelligently debate others on this forum, you wouldn't have to resort to that sort of foul-mouthed retort on nearly every post.

I would love for your hero, Duncan Hunter, to just once come into this forum to witness his number one disciple at work. Perhaps I'll just copy some of what you've posted here and send it to him. I'm sure he'll be impressed.

What's missing from your whole pathetic posting history on Sarah Palin is a thread of reasoned debate. Whenever you're challenged about your position on her, you immediately revert to your gutter trash stance, and begin hurling ad hominem attacks against whomever you're talking to.

You sully this community with that ugly behavior, pissant, and reveal an obsession that is degraded and putrid to most people reading here.

And you say that I ought to think about seeing a shrink. It's you who are on the anti-Palin jihad, not me.
