"The [Digg] model [makes] it very susceptible to external gaming whereby users from certain groups attempt to push their viewpoint or articles to the front page to give them traction," claimed senior news editor "Oleoleolson." Oh, noes! He's discovered ... Digg!!! And its format.

I was banned from Digg, claiming that I was part of a “pro-Israel” conspiracy.
It was kind of bizarre; 90% of my post had to do with cars.
I posted a couple of things in response to lies about Israel and -— immediately -— banned, no explanation.

So, what is Digg? I’ve never heard of it, nor have I heard of AlterNet. But as far as FR involvement is concerned, I suspect, if true, it would be by individual members, on their own initiative. I don’t see how that reflects on FR...

When the Right does this, its an agenda-pushing conspiracy.
When the Left does this, it’s “getting the word out.”

The obvious response is that each FReeper needs to get a DIGG account and Digg/Bury articles as appropriate.

The hate-mongering Far Left will bury Digg simply because they hate reading about Sarah Palin and are unable to stop items about her.

Americans in general disagree with the left's agenda once they see it for what it is (and not behind the “entertainment" and “news” media smokescreen).
It wouldn't take a “conspiracy for Americana's to overwhelmingly reject the left’s Internet propaganda.

Typical
They set up the rules of the game.
People play by the rules and exploit the weakness in the game and win over the liberals.
Then they cry about the very same rules that they set up.

"This includes such means as cyber stalking, bullying and terror. There is also a heavy contingent active on the ultraconservative FreeRepublic."Hmmm. This sounds suspiciously like how an FR blog pimper might describe the behavior of Pablo, who is very wily?

They are angry that some conservatives are doing what they’ve always done and what they established the service to do (hype the agenda items they agree with and bury the news that they don’t want seen).
It’s long been a tactic of those on the Left to spin the news on Yahoo et al.
They got mad that some FReepers are doing likewise.
Never is there a news item on DUping the public, or DUmping on polls, or even ISLAMming polls with an internet campaign to flood the results. Nope, it’s only ever about “FReeping”.
Gets tiresome to see them deny the obvious.

"The [Digg] model [makes] it very susceptible to external gaming whereby users from certain groups attempt to push their viewpoint or articles to the front page to give them traction," See also Amazon (and other) book reviews of political books. How else could an Ann Coulter book get 500 5-star reviews and 500 1-star reviews weeks before the book is even released?

They says Conservatives “love to hate”.
What emotion did they have when railing about George Bush non-stop? Liberals and Progressives love to hate IMO.
